Photopass+ Shipping charges x2

I Know this was discussed on a thread recently and someone called Photopass and they said to add it to the package reservation and collect at the resort. I had emailed them before that poster had called them but my reply was in similar terms. I rang WDTC today and spoke to two agents. It is not an option on the UK booking system.

I am hoping this will change but failing that I will wait until 15 days out and order it to go to our resort address. Thought is I've the heads up to anyone going before me who planned on this t save the initial additional charge for gallery CD and voucher.

Thanks for the "heads-up" on this Lee. Funny I was thinking about just this very topic today and wondering if I should go ahead and order it whilst it was still available at the pre-order discount price

I don't think the pre order price is going to go away. In fact last year we paid $169 for the pre order (but no initial shipping for the voucher and gallery CD) so essentially it is still cheaper to pay up the $15 for the voucher to be sent out in advance. What annoys me is that it is free to US residents and we are paying for a voucher to be sent to us that we have to remember where we put it, make sure we remember to take it, and then take it all the way back to the USA ..... where we have paid $15 for it to come from

I did email them back and say that I thought it is a bit silly and that if it means I don't get a gallery CD then so be it because I have one from last year. I will see what they say but will keep hassling them until a workable solution is found. I was tempted to ask if I can pay $2 to have the voucher sent without the CD but I wasn't so cheeky

I do suspect this is an add on option that might be in the pipeline. What I did find out is that it can be added to US reservation packages. It does show as an option on MDE and with the new MM+ it is definitely being added into the packages just like Magical Express, etc so it might be that they have not got round to doing this for US guests yet. I will post on the Canadian board and ask as they have the same problem and see if their system has been updated yet to allow it to be added.

These posted quoted from another thread on the Theme Parks board. I'm assuming the varying methods in which they are being received depends on when and how they added them, but this at least confirms that they are currently adding it to packages

We received ours in a separate package. It was inside the stock photo CD that was part of our package.

Ours was inside the cd case they gave us when we checked in at the counter.
