Photopass Share and Magic Bands?

I am planning on organizing a Photopass share with three other families I know going to Disney at the same time (early November). Is this still possible with the new magic bands? I was reading how they can be linked now- or is that just the Photopass plus? Thanks in advance for your advice.

well you could not use your bands for the photos and still use the regular cards in the part. On the site, you can still add cards to the account

Avoiding, in fact do not put photopass on the band. Also, do not add a park ticket to the band if not a package, or if it is a package never add a left over ticket from previous trip.
What a nightmare, I almost lost my two days for the free dining when guest service added the old hopper to the band and stated the new two days were only on the room key. Wrong! It used my two days, then started using my old hopper. He was wrong and it took an hour after waiting in line 30 minutes to get it fixed before entering the park.
