Photopass Questions

Does anyone know if there is a way to get a copy of the photo without ordering it. Like printing it or putting it on your computer. I do not care if it says Disney or something across it. I just think that is a lot of money for a picture. I thought that you could E-mail or share them with others somehow. Just wondering.

My guess is that those photos are just like the ones that the cruise lines' photographers take of you. They are copyrighted, and you must (legally) go through them to get reproductions.

I don't know, but I would think the photo pass site is like some others where it is configured to not let you copy graphics (including the images of your photos) to your computer.

You could probably print a screen image of the web page when your photo is up, but the resolution would be horrible.

Kind of defeats Disney's purpose to design a website that would allow you to print the photo for free, doesn't it?

hmmm well, yes there is a way to get the photos.Remember however these are copyright protected.The photos you can get will be fine for your pc, but not suitable for printing.

you can share the photos with others (it permits you to send the URL to others so they can come in and view them -and i think purchase them)..
as for saving it....you can save them as a thumbnail onto your computer, but the saved picture is a very lowgrade version of the picture...if you blow it up, it can't really be viewed at all...
but you can save it as a thumbnail..

i wish we could buy them for download in addition to buying them..
i've bought about 40 pictures from them over 3 trips and they come out super great (they're sent directly from Kodak in Rochester NY), but i wish after we purchase hardcopies,they would let us also download them...
