Photopass questions

Hi everyone on my way home from the world right now! we had a great trip. we did have alot of photopass pics taken. someone at one of the parks told me that if u wait a few weeks before u order your pics then They start sending coupons and deals via email? just wondering if this was true? i hate to wait to order if this never happens. thanks!

There are sometimes specials offered on the PhotoPass Web site, but I've never heard of them e-mailing you deals becuase your photos are about to expire. They do e-mail you to remind you to buy them.

I've read of people getting coupons, but the best coupon I've read about simply brings the cost down to $99 which is the same price you can get by pre-ordering the Photopass. If you pre-order and then decide afterwards that you didn't take enough photos to warrant it, or they didn't turn out, or whatever....you can get a full refund. So while you do have to pay ahead of time it's still a no-lose situation, as you can get a refund if you don't need it.

I suppose if you didn't pre-order and now want the $99 price you could wait for the coupon....but watch your timing as the photo cards expire 30 days after the first photo was taken....while some have written of being able to get their photos restored within a short time after expiration, I wouldn't want to risk my vacation photos on the off chance of a few dollars savings. After spending thousands on a trip to lose memories over $25 would be counterproductive,
