With the old Photopass service we would get a card at the parks that the photographers would scan. With the new system do we still pick up a card? I purchased the new week photopass a while ago but not sure how the new system works.

You don't pick up a card on a lanyard like the old PhotoPass+, but PP photographers will give you a card with a code that you can enter into your PhotoPass account to retrieve your pictures. You can give that card to any other photographers you encounter, or you can get more cards as you go - you aren't limited to the number of codes you can enter. For ride photos, make sure you get the complete number, including the leading letters. That's what you load into your account to get those.

Thank you! Now I have purchased the photopass but i don’t see it on my disneyland app? Does my account start after the first picture is taken?

I recommend making sure you have the app, and when you get a photopass card, you can scan it with the app and see all the pictures on your phone. That way, if you lose a photopass card, you haven't lost the pictures. If multiple people in your group get cards, you can link them all.

It's also fun to see the pictures soon, and if a must-have picture like a castle shot doesn't turn out, you can try again!

Im in the same boat as the OP in trying to figure out how this works. Whats the app have to download?
