Photopass question

So we just got back from DL and this is the first time we have used Photopass since they changed it. We got some of the visa meet and greet pics but I didn't see any of the cute borders. Did they do away with those or do you not get them for the visa pics? And if not do you still get them for the regular pics?

The borders are gone as are all the products. We were at DL the week they went back to letting you purchase the week long photopass (as opposed to the $39 each day of your trip). They told us that they were hoping the borders and products were coming back soon because there were lots of complaints. We have been watching since we still have photos active, and so far nothing has returned. I always like to make the Disney photopass book, and the only way to do that now is to buy your photos from DL and then upload them into the Disneyworld site to make the photobook (or calendar, mug, ornament, magnet etc). In the product section of the Disneyworld photopass site, they still have Disneyland options available. The DL CMs told us that is what they are even telling people to do. It's crazy- and annoying! I'm sure it is especially annoying for people who usually make the photobook, mugs, magnets, etc. without buying the pictures themselves separately, because you used to be able to use a picture to make a product without buying the picture- and now you have to buy it to load it into the Disneyworld website to make the Disneyland product! It was not that big a deal for me, because we usually buy all the photos and also make the book- so it was annoying to have to upload them, but we didn't have extra expenses like others might.

Ok that is what I thought. Bummer. Well hopefully disney WORLD still has them as we are going in Dec and I plan to buy the Memory Maker.
