PhotoPass Question

Hi all, just back from a brilliant holiday - will do my report soon.

About to order the photpass pictures, have previously only had a few so have ordered the actual prints but this time we have 46 so I am considering the CD.

Excuse my ignorance - I'm not a PC expert, so a few questions.

If I buy the CD:
1 I assume I can upload to my PC (as it has a cup holder opps I mean CD slot)
2 Can I take the CD to Boots for printing - I don't have a photo printer?

Yes you can, and yes you can. There are no restrictions on the CD and it comes with a release form where Disney give you permission to do anything you like with the photos.

Great thanks. I always get a CD with my photos, but just for storage as I download the images direct to the PC anyway. Wasn't sure if Boots etc will be able to pribnt directly from a CD - good to know they can.

Sorry one more question - I've been editing with borders - can these be printed directly from the CD too? I mean can a normal printer in a shop cope with all the borders etc? Hopefully it can as they look really great with the borders added.

Have just viewed my photopass pics(all 483 of them-without any borders added yet ).I have gone into enhance to add my borders-is that correct?.When i have added a border do i then click on 'save as copy'?.Will it then save it as the original and save it as with the border on it?.
Once i have done all my borders on all my pics what is the next step?.
I know it is probably really easy to do,but i am scared i will make a mistake+ruin it.Please talk me through it step-by-step someone.

Yes again! The photos with borders are saved as industry standard .jpg files.

Hi Michelle,

You're right - go into enhance, add your border and then click "Save as copy". You will then see a new thumbnail at the bottom of the photo with the border added. Once you've done all your borders just click on Order CD. Make sure you add in the code you got from the pre-purchase which will take off the cost of the CD. I think you ordered yours when they were still including the cost of shipping so it will take that off for you as well.

You should be OK but if you come across any problems you know where I am.

International shipping is $17. I've never done the private session but from the pictures I've seen it seems worthwhile.

Many thanks for your reply Wickesy. I ordered the CD with 60 photos on (46 + amendments) so for £100 delivered I think thats excellent value for something I'll be able to have on CD/PC for ever.

I've seen them on various people's trip reports, but I couldn't tell you which ones now - sorry.
