Photopass problem/issue

I had the same problem last December. I ordered my CD and then found the third. I did hear back from the photopass but it took a while. Leave another message and sound really panicked and freaked out. This may make them return your call faster.

I'm really glad that it worked out for you and Disney came through, but I'm amazed that you had so many pictures on it! We went to all of the parks last week and until Friday, our last park day, at AK we never even got our picture taken - and there I had to go up and ask to have a family picture taken in front of the Tree of Life, then I gave it to the CM that was taking pix of the kids with Lilo and Stitch. I'm not complaining, but I just didn't see that many photographers - except upon entering the parks, and they were always busy. We spent one day at TL and didn't see any!

We actually like using the waterpark photopass more than the other one no matter which park we're in. I just keep it on my wrist all day and it's super handy especially when there are lots of photograhers around. You avoid fumbling around in your pockets or camera bag for it.

Thanks I thought there was a 7 or 9 card limit.

That was only on the old system.

When PhotoPass first started selling the CDs online, they cobbled together a temporary ordering page that only had room for about 9 cards (you could enter more cards in the "Notes" box as well, but most people missed that fact). The temporary system was replaced early this year by the real system, which is what is in operation now.

The current system of ordering PhotoPass CDs does not require you to enter your cards on the CD order form; instead, it simply burns all of the pics in your PhotoPass account to the CD and mails it out to you. And you can put as many cards into your account as you like, up to 100.

A bit off topic here but Mickey Mania you PM'd me about a photopass share and your account wont let me PM you back:confused3 Anyway,
If you have already entered the card numbers onto an account I dont think you can add them to ours too. We can try but from what I have heard from others, it wont let you. :(
I would have loved for you to join us. Thanks for responding
have a wonderful day

That's correct - PhotoPass cards can only be added to ONE account. Once they're added, they can't be added to any other accounts.

OP, I'm so glad that everything worked out for you! I actually ordered my CD last night and the confirmation e-mail said that Disney can't make any changes after you've placed your order. So luckily you found a nice CM to help you out! I think $125 is reasonable considering that you're purchasing the rights to the photos, but to have to pay double that is a little much! Hope you enjoy your pics!

We are going back to WDW in 4 days and I know how photopass works but the last time we were there you could not use it for the pictures on the rides. How does that work and what rides can you use the photopass? Thanks!

from my photopass primer

Currently, Test Track in Epcot is the only attraction to feature PhotoPass technology. After exiting the attraction, guests can locate their ride photo on a bank of monitors and insert their PhotoPass card into a slot (which has an indicator that momentarily turns from red to green upon successfully crediting the photo to the card) to claim it. There should be a cast member at the monitors to assist any guests that may be having difficulties as well as to distribute new cards to those who need them.

The Test Track photo border is one of the options when viewing the photo online or purchasing it in the parks.

It’s expected that more attractions will include support for PhotoPass in the future, but it’s likely to appear on newer attractions before the older attractions receive this feature.

As Brad said, Test Track is currently the only attraction with PhotoPass equipement on stage.

However, I have heard unconfirmed reports that a few rides like Splash Mountain have PhotoPass equipment installed, and that you can take your PP card to the photo counter after the ride to have it swiped (you need your photo number from the monitors.)

Wow - I hadn't heard that anywhere! Can anyone confirm it? I have had to go to the counter at Test Track because there was trouble scanning my photo at the monitors on the wall, and another picture had already appeared there. I went to the counter and the CM found my photo and added it to my photopass for me. Sounds like this might be what is possible elsewhere... I'd love to see confirmation of this and exactly which places it's available.
