I am sorry to bombard you with all those questions today. I have just come back from vacation and now I am in full planning mode for my next vacation. I have promised myself that I will make good use of Photopass this time round. I have so many photos from my cruises, but none at all from the parks.

I know that they are offering Photopass Portrait sessions at some of the WDW resorts. Do they offer this at Disneyland as well?

They don't do this at DLR yet.

Also keep in mind with just two parks there are less locations. Likely too you trip is shorter. So you may now get as many photos.

Thanks again. Well, I don't think I could have any less than I got at WDW in 2009, which is the only time I ever had a Photopass card. I think my grand total was 9 photos. We are actually spending more time at Disneyland than we ever stayed at WDW. The longest we stayed at WDW was 9 nights, but we are staying a total of 10 nights at VGC. I did not really understand it then, but I have been checking out Photopass locations and I am hoping for a few more photos. I am also hoping to attend the Halloween party twice so there should be plenty of photos to go round. It is a shame though that they don't offer the portrait sessions. I think GC would make a beautiful setting.

Are the photopass photographers at "permanant" locations, or do they roam around? If they are set up at stations, could you please tell me where? Thanks in advance.

They are in set locations. Though how many of those set positions varies depending on crowds. More guests more PP photographers. They are also at most character meet and greet spots.

This is the official map for example on it, 5 is PFF the princess meet and greet, 6 is Pixie Hollow the Fairie meet and greet, 2 is where you will meet Mickey and Minnie. Notice on the left you can link to the DCA map.

This site tell everything about PP, but is geared to WDW, so some specifics are WDW only.

Be aware that even at the set locations there will be times when they aren't there. Say for example at the Partners statue in the hub. When the PP photog has to take a break there may not be someone there. During the busiest times sometimes they will have someone to fill in, but not always.

Just like when you are at WDW you will want to be on the lookout for the photograhpers. Make it a point to stop at everyone and, if you want magical shots, ask every photog if they take any. They won't take any at night, once they have set up their tripods, BTW.

Also, if you are planning on buying the CD let them know. They usually only take 3 photos, but if they aren't busy and are good at their job many times they will offer to take more for you. Sometimes even moving you to a slightly different location.

Recently we were at Paradise Pier in DCA by the Toy Story Meet 'n Greet. There was a CM and a PP photog just standing there waiting for the characters to return from break. I asked her is she could take some pix and she took quite a few of us, happily. We did something similiar this past holiday season when the photog was waiting for Santa to come back. The characters have more scheduled breaks than the photogs do so many times they will be waiting around for them to come back. On Paradise Pier where they take pix with Duffy there are many times the photog is just standing there, alone.

During the day there may be a roving photog taking pix for the Memories show on IASW. We haven't run into one yet but we've heard they exist.

Have fun!
