PhotoPass Plus - will I get it in time?

So when u get the cd with all your photos you can then print them elsewhere, like Walgreens? Only one photo pass card or your whole families cards?

While most of you received your Photopass Plus in 3 days, I did not. I ordered mine on 8/21. The shipping status from UPS says estimated delivery would be 8/28 though it was too shipped by 2 days air. I live in CO. :confused3

That is what mine is saying. I ordered on the 21st & I didn't realize I could track it with ups until reading this. I just had the email so I logged into the photo pass account & found it there.

My email said it shipped on the 22nd but I assumed that would mean the 23rd due to the late email. Well, ups says it went out on the 24th - yesterday - & 2nd day air. It tells me it'll arrive Tuesday. That's more than 2 days.

For those that have received it, was it actually received by ups or via the regular postal system? I have had packages that were sent Fed Ex before only to be shipped to the post office then delivered. If it comes via postal I'm probably screwed. If it comes ups then I'll get it the day before I leave. I'm really hoping it will arrive ups....

The UPS truck brought mine and I had to sign for it. Hopefully you will be home when they come by, because I'm not sure if they will just leave it at the door if you're not home.

Hope you get it in time!

Freaking crap. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to leave someone home to sign for it as I have meetings all freaking day that day.

I didn't sign for ours and usps did not bring it. I think ups or fedex brought it, but they left it at the door. We live way out in the country, I don't know if that makes a difference.

what site are you finding it for that cheap ! The only price I have seen was 169.00 per ordered an 199.00 at park. Please post a link to the site and I will order 1 . Thanks

It's 69.99 for Disneyland. It's 169.99 for Walt Disney World. Both are on Disney's photo pass website.

In the event anyone else has a difficult time finding the link to DLR PhotoPass+, here it is: http://www.disneyphotopass.com/dlrphotopassplus.aspx

I don't know if it's because I'm typically associated with WDW in Disney's system, but I had to go through the help menu and really search to find first the PhotoPass + info, and then DLR's specific info. The site was trying to sell me WDW's at first, but thankfully I knew that was not accurate due to the price alone - even though no where on the page was it saying what park it was for!

Sometimes Disney's ineptitude at websites boggles the mind.

Is there any reason NOT to preorder months ahead of time?
I figure if I ore order now, six months out I'll be sure to have avoided a price increase but I am not sure if you have to use the preorder within a time frame or any other rules

I ordered one WAY ahead of time, when I went to use it it said it had expired - but a quick email to photo pass quickly fixed the problem and all was good

Just a quick question... Do you now need specific Disneyland photo pass ? I have previously visited both WDW and DLR in the same trip and just per ordered the one disc and was able to combine both....

You are able to combine, but must pay the WDW price for the product you are buying ($119.95 for PhotoCD or $169.95 for PP+).

I think I understand the concept of the Disneyland Photopass Plus but would like confirmation.

So with the package you don't have to pay for any of the pictures or you pay when ordering (within 30 days after your visit is over)?

I read that the attraction photos are $14.95 each but you get those FREE for most attractions and as many times as you want if you order this package? No extra costs for downloading or does the PhotoCD cost money too?

Are the picturess taken by a photopass employee free as well - meaning, you don't pay to download them.

With the package, you pay $69.95 and get 3 things. You get a CD with stock professional DLR photos, which is great for a screensaver. You get a code for a PhotoCD (a $69.95 value in itself). And you get a voucher which can be exchanged in the parks for a PhotoPass+ card.

With the PP+ card, you get everything the regular PP cards give you, plus unlimited digital ride photos for free (~$15 each), plus digital dining photos for free, plus hard copies of dining photos for free (~$30 each).

Finally, since we're going at Christmas, when would I order it? A week before leaving on the trip?

Thanks for your help in understanding this.

Order it anytime, including now, up until 2 weeks before your trip. Although you can cut it closer if necessary. I've ordered mine already for our January trip.

When they say 2nd day air - it is business days - you can't count Sat. or Sun. The first shipping date from the email is the date UPS label was made and UPS was contacted for shipping.
Mine was delivered by UPS - the brown truck pulled up in front of our house and rang our doorbell.

I live in Canada & it only took 4 days for it to arrive. I did not have to sign for it (was delivered to my locked mailbox) & I did not have to pay anything extra for international delivery. :)

How did it expire I had mine sent to me in Australia but they sent me a voucher to pick it up on arrival at the parks

I still don't leave for 7 weeks

Yup I understand that, I just thought it funny they say 2 day shipping when in reality it won't go out for 2 days AFTER they tell you it has been shipped.

For what it's worth, I did receive it today!! They did just drop and leave it at the door without having to sign although I had someone at the house just in case.

So for those wondering, I wouldn't cut it too close. It took 7 days (5 business) for mine to arrive. Ironically it didn't have to travel as far as some others who have received theirs in fewer days.
