Just seen this today on InsideDLP Facebook page:

After the US and Hong Kong, Disney PhotoPass is finally being launched online for Disneyland Paris, service will start being used this Summer but the website has been launched (http://disneyphotopass.eu/) and the free applications are now available for Iphone and Android!

Already downloaded the app!

I'm going in September too! Will be keeping an eye out for the prices of the photopass plus as I think this is such a good idea!

So do we know how this will work yet? When you get to a photo till do you get given a number, or do you scan something in.....?

I downloaded the app.
I don't understand how it's going to work anybody shed any light please.
The WDW we had last year was great you bought it on line then took to the photo pass shop you got your card and added the pictures when you had them taken at rides etc.
Then you ordered the disk when you got home.
I was hoping for a similar thing ???

Reading the T&Cs on the website it looks like the DLP version not be the same as the WDW one. You will get a card from a photographer when you get your photo take, then you enter the code into the iPhone, Android app or website and then you can pick which photos you wish to print or download.

You then give this card to other photographers around the park or to the CMs are the ride photo booths who will put your ride phones onto your card. You will also be able to upload your own photos to the PhotoPass site.

There is no mention of a CD-Rom to be sent with your photos on, so I guess you can just download them from the website.

All the prices and the items you can buy are on the PhotoPass site. Fujifilm are running this service on behalf of DLP.

There is also a helpful help page here.

I just hope they increase the number of photographers around the resort to make this work.

I have a iPhone but switch the data roaming off so I'm thinking this isn't going to be so easy or I'm I missing something :confused3

From reports inside the park today, photos from attractions are already available for scanning on the Disney PhotoPass application.

There are rumors circulating that Photopass will be launching this Saturday and will cost 50 Euros for the Photopass+ service.

Yes, not sure where this is officially from (it SAYS official press release.....) but...

http://www.mickeyland.be/blog/disneyland-paris-photopass-press-release/

'Disneyland Paris is updating its current Photopass system to Disney Photopass+. Guests will now, just like Walt Disney World visitors, be able to access their pictures taken by Disney photographers or onride-photos after their visit from their home computers or mobile devices.

Here’s the official press release:

"New photo services pack for unforgettable souvenirs.
Disney PhotoPass+: photos taken in the Disney Parks available in HD from this summer!

Disneyland Paris Photopass+

From 21 June this year, Disneyland® Paris presents Disney PhotoPass+, a new service for accessing photo-souvenir taken in the Parks in HD. Guests will have access to a photo services pack to view, download and share all photos taken with Disney characters or on rides that take ride photos.

From July 2014, Disney PhotoPass+ will allow guests to access all their photo-souvenirs taken on rides or with Disney characters by Park photographers at photo locations in high definition. Guests will be able to access a dedicated website or a mobile app to view, download and share their photos on social networks or to purchase personalized photo products (mugs, calendars, etc.).

The Disney PhotoPass+ service will be on offer at the price of €49.99. Guests will receive a box containing an exclusive lanyard card holder, a main card and two mini cards to use throughout their visit to the Disneyland Paris Parks to link their photos to the service.

From the first activation of the pack, guests could associate unlimited photo souvenirs to the service PhotoPass+ by presenting their card to photographers of Disney PhotoPass, or to the photo desk in the attractions equipped with an image capture system or by flashing the QR code directly from the monitors located at the exit of the attractions.

The photos will be available in high definition at www.disneyphotopass.eu or on the new mobile app. The “Disneyland Paris PhotoPass” app, a first for Disney Parks, is available to download on Apple and Android platforms."'

I hope it's available to buy in DLP then - think 50 Euro is a brilliant deal if it gives you all the meet and greet photos as well as ride photos. I was so sure this would only come out at beginning of July after we got back. :yay:

Sounds great! I hope they are employing more photographers though. the only one we met last month was at the Spiderman meet.

That's a good price I would be very happy too pay that :)
Will you be asking about it on your trip ?
Pretty please

Oh and €50 is good value, I'd be happy to pay that. We paid almost that just to buy 2 photos.

It appears that a Photopass pack is being included with the handouts before the Q&A session on Sunday. But if I see any Photopass+ packs in the park on Friday or Saturday I'm going to get one and try it out.

DW has an Android phone and I have an iPhone so it will be a good opportunity test out the apps while we are in the park.
