Hi, newbie here. Is there a list somewhere of where the photographers for the photopass will be?. princess: 11 and I will be traveling and would like to get as many photos of the 2 of us together since I know it will be a buying opportunity for me to get the CD and go on line and get the other fun photopass stuff and want to make it worth the money. Yes, I talk just as fast without breathing as I write. Thanks in advance for any insight:flower3:

I am not sure if there is a list somewhere? There always a few of them on Main Street at MK, and usually off to the sides of the castle too. They are at every Disney park even Typhoon Lagoon. Be sure to get your pass the first day you are there and snap away that way you will have alot of pictures for your CD. Have Fun :)

Spaceship Earth at Epcot
Sunset Boulevard at MGM
Oasis at Animal Kingdom

and just about everywhere. But the above they seem to hang out at longer.

You can also put your pictures taken on the rides on your photopass (such and RnR, TT, etc)

This year was the most I've ever seen photographers. They are everywhere! Don't worry about looking for them. They're at all the character meet and greets. They're all over Main St. They were in several locations at AK to get awesome shots at the Tree of Life. Same for Epcot, with the Ball. And again at MGM at Sorcerer Mickey's hat. You won't have to look for them, believe me!

Are you sure about all the rides? I've heard only Test Track so far. I would absolutely love if they had all the normal photo rides available, especially Splash Mountain.

We saw them everywhere in Dec. At all the character greeting areas, in from of The Seas with Nemo. The character trails in AK, Tree of Life, on Hollywood Blvd at MGM, in front of RnR.

They are also in some of the countries at Epcot. We got some beautiful pictures at night.

We just got back and the only ride that we could use the photo pass on was Test Track. I think they are truely missing out on a great deal of money with not having it at the other rides. We would of bought them on the photo pass if that was an option because there were some great pics but they were not available and we didn't want to waste time standing around ordering them when we could of been on rides!

Do they take any photos at the character dining that they can put on the photopass?

Where do you get the photopass?

The photograhers have them and will give you one when you have your picture taken. We had a couple of cards last time because before I could give them my card they swiped a new one and gave it to me. You can use a couple of cards on the Photopass site when you get home so it's okay if you end up with more than one card.

The only ride I saw doing the Photopass option was Test Track. I was just looking at the picture and didn't even notice the Photopass option but a CM handed me a card and I swiped it for the Test Track photo. I guess this is a trial run to see how it works and I would imagine more rides will be offering that option if it works out well.

I think the number of photographers you see may be random. I fully planned on purchasing the CD on my trip. My best friend and her kids were with me and my kids and I figured between the two of us we would have enough photos to make it worth it. I saw very few photographers on my trip. They were at the usual places like in front of the castle where I always get a pic done but didn't see too many roaming around. I only ended up with four pics and didn't buy the CD. I think if you do autographs with the characters then you will start adding a lot of pics to your collection but my DD has been using the same autograph book for four trips now and we very rarely get in line for the characters unless someone rare is out. She only got six or seven autographs this time. We went to AK the day we arrived and didn't see any photograhers there not even by the Tree of Life but we were standing around at the entrance on the way out for the day and my DS struck up a conversation with the photographer there and he took our picture with my camera which turned out to be one of my favorite pictures. My friend went to AK on her last day after I went home and she ran into a ton of photographers. She ended up with about 65 pictures but they stood in a lot of lines for character autographs and that is where most of the pictures came from. So I guess it depends on being in the right place at the right time and whether or not you do a lot of character autographs on how many pics you will end up with. Sorry this was so long! I do think the CD is a great idea but it is only worth the price if you get lots of pics.

No, the photos taken at restaurants (Chef Mickey's, Ohana's, PSB) are separate. They want you to buy the package from them.

However, at CRT, the photo package is included in the price of your meal so yes, you can ask to have it put on your Photopass card.

They are everywhere, you will notice them by their costumes.
The disc is the way to go for $99

I really hope there are more photographers out there nowadays. We went last July and I was really looking forward to taking advantage of the photopass option based on all I read on these boards. Well, the only photographers we saw were at the front of the parks and they all had really long lines. We ended up just getting one picture taken at EPCOT.

Since this coming trip will be just DH & I, I hope more are available.

Last Year, we were able to put our pictures from Donald's Breakfastosaurus on our photo pass, but I'm not sure if they're still doing this. It was the only character meal we did that went on the Photopass, though.

Very cool if Test Track pics can go on it now! I agree, they should add more ride photos on the photopass, for sure. And there are photographers in the countries at Epcot? I don't remember seeing them there last March, so I look forward to this. :cool1:
