This may be old news, but I called to book a GF photo shoot and found out that they now do them at the Poly as well. So excited - a good excuse to go there for a cup of good coffee, and we'll have some nice new family pictures on top of it.
Price is $49 sitting fee, then they add the pics to your photopass, OR if you buy the disk for $125, there's no sitting fee (essentially bringing the disk price down to $75) and all of the photopass pictures from the photo shoot and any park pics will be burned on the CD. We may go this route since we're also doing P&P Party, so I anticipate having more pics than usual.

I asked about that, and she said that they changed the pre-order discount and you needed to have received an e-mail with a promo code? She sounded very confused about that part, so between now and when we go I'll have to find out for sure and I'll make sure to post here.
Or if anyone does know, please jump in!

can you pre-order the disk and still get the no sitting fee?

If you pre-order the disk for $99, then you will be charged a "half-price" sitting fee ($24.95). So, essentially it works out to the same $125 as if you bought it at the shoot. HTH!

Specific Info on the Photo Shoot can be found under the Step 3, View Tips link, then at the very bottom of the linked page.

HTH!

If you buy your CD at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, or Saratoga Springs, you also get 3 free 5x7 prints.

I think they started taking reservations the other day. I booked Thursday for June 1st.

When I book GF shoot 2 weeks ago she told me they would be taking ressies in about a week for Poly so they are taking them now. I was told to bring my email confirmation receipt print out...not really a promo code.

I booked a shoot at the Poly for May 22. They had tons of openings. I pretty much could choose my day and time.

Where do you call for photo shoots? Do they do them outside and inside? How long do they allow for the shoot? I would love a new family pic.

The number for the Grand floridian is 407-824-1700, Poly is 407-824-1163.

Here's the info

Additionally, you can schedule a 20 minute one-on-one session with a PhotoPass Photographer at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The two package options are:

$49.95 - Sitting Fee only
$124.95 - Sitting Fee plus all of the PhotoPass pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers throughout your stay on a PhotoPass CD
The Grand Floridian session must be booked 30 days prior to arrival. The number to call is: 407-824-1700. If you order this with the pre-arrival savings offer, you pay $24.95 for the sitting fee, a 50% savings. Note that this is the only resort currently offering this service.

But I know they have now added the Poly as an option..and I believe SSR?

I think that another poster said that if you ordered it there, you would only get the Photopass CD and you wouldn't be able to add other photo's to it from the parks? If you pre-order it, you can wait till you get home to order the CD with all the photopass photo's on it, from the photoshoot as well as the other parks.

Here's the way they explained it to me..

They do the photo shoot and add it onto a photopass card. This costs $49.00. If you want to buy those photos on a CD which has copyright releases so that you can do with them whatever you want, the CD is $125 and the photo shoot is then "free" (included in the $125.)

If you pre-order the CD for $99.00, the price of the photo shoot then goes down to $25.00, bringing the price back up to the same $125 as above.

She told me that ALL photopass photos, throughout the park, any photopass location, would be burned onto the CD. You would just need to bring the receipt and any/all photopass cards to a photopass location and they would burn them all together on 1 CD.

We're going on 5/20, so I'll be glad to report back to everyone when we return and let you know how it went.

Is there a particular number that we should call to make these reservations?

Sorry, this is very off-topic but I can't help myself. Wendylovesdinsey, your girls are gorgeous! I'm guessing you adopted?
