Photopass on CD

I would recommend that you get as many photopass pictures taken as you can (some people had over 500 - we had 15!) and buy the CD on your last day.

Anybody have any tips on how to maximise the Photopass opportunity?

its expensive to post the photos to the UK.

I ordered 3 different sets of pictures last summer (from 3 different trips in July, August and September). The postal charge on each wasn't expensive at all. The pictures were definitely expensive, but not the shipping costs.

But i of course it depends how many pictures you purchase. I purchased over $150 in pictures each time, so the shipping cost was marginal. Whereas, if you only buy one picture the shipping cost would be high (since it was the same regardless of number of pictures purchased)

Does anyone know how long it will take to burn onto CD, we normally have 100ish taken.

It takes about 10 minutes to burn onto CD.

  1. When you go into parks there are lots of photopass photographers. Go and see more than one of them each time as they have different 'magic' photos, especially at the Studios and MK
  2. Make sure you get night and day pictures
  3. Get group photos and individual photos
  4. keep your eyes peeled for the photopass photographers - they pop up all over the place
  5. Visit the characters at designated spots, there are often photopass folk there
  6. Don't worry if you forget your photopass card one day as they can combine more than one card onto a disc

Many thanks.

One other question (and apologies for "usurping" this thread); how do you recognise Photopass Photographers?

If my memory serves me correct they tend to wear grey wasitcoat type, blue trousers and have a camera around their neck.

Also they tend to jump out at you asking if you want your photo taken usually in a popular place.

Magic Kingdom
Infront of the castle anywhere from the start of main street up til the crossroad area.

Sometimes with a character.

MGM
Usually the start of the street
With Characters
there is a place where you can your photo with Mickey next to the backlot tours.

Animal Kingdom
Infront of the tree of life
On the bridge over the water also a tree of life photo.
With characters at camp minie and mickey
With character tigger, pooh, piglet and eyore this is near dinoland

Epcot
The entrance
inside where the characters are

Sorry my memory has gone blank on the names, i just tend to go without thinking.

Also the photopass photographers carry a black hand held device with scans the card.

Hope you understand

I just checked the prices (we're still within our 28 days!). A 7x5 is $12.95 and a 10x8 is $16.95. Postage is $7.19 which I suppose is relative to how much you're spending. I only want one picture so it's expensive.

As to where to find the photographers - apart from a few floating aroung Main Street and near the castle, you tend to find them where the characters are. The best place for characters in my view is the Character Connection at Epcot - almost all our photopass pictures were taken there and we never had to queue.
