Photopass+ - now $149

Hi, I am really interested in the PP+ for our trip to Disney next month. But I still don't quite understand how it works and what I get.

Will we get all our photos on CD or will we go online and download them to our computer after our trip?

Will we be able to order prints for free, or is it basically just ownership of the digital files and the right to print them out at a retail photo kiosk, like a Target?

Can I use this even if we are not staying at the WDW resort?

Thanks!

Ok, I guess I'm a little slow, but I don't quite get what the difference is between the Photo Pass+ and the CD. Does the Pass+ just have the borders you can add and print them for you? But the CD one only gives you your pictures on a cd? Or is there some other difference that I'm missing? We've never done that before so thanks for any info!

With the + it includes photos from certain rides and restaurants. I forget the the full list, but for me it's worth it due to the restaurants and rides it includes. It also includes the borders, etc..

I can't remember a major Disney product like this decreasing in cost. Nice to see, and we'll definitely be getting it in future WDW trips.

If you go to the link that OP put up it explains what you get! But I will try to explain..... You get a card and as you tour the parks there are Disney photographers all over the place that will take your pic as a family, or individuals, etc... They scan the card and its saved! Now with photo pass plus they have added the special photos you get taken at character meals, and the photos that are taken on rides like EE, RRC, TT, Buzz, etc.. When you get home you go online and log in and enter your card number and it brings up all your photos, you then have 30 days to edit the photos, add borders, etc! If 30 days is not enough for you, they will extend it if you call and ask.

We will be doing the photo pass plus because in the past we have spent a lot of money on character meal pics, and on ride pics! For us it's such a good deal! Ride photos are as much as $20 each, and character meal photo sets can be $40 so you can see where the savings comes into play.

When you add borders or edit to black and white, etc.... It always keeps the original photo taken!

Hope this helps!

I just ordered on Sunday - and received it yesterday. Thank you for the heads up!!!

Does anyone know if the photo pass has an expiration? We would like to go to Disney, but not sure when.

Thanks!

If you order the PP+ pre-order, the voucher you get does not expire. I ordered my PP+ pre-order on the first day they offered it for Disneyland back in June. My trip wasn't until January 2013. Once you exchange the voucher for an active PP+ card inside the parks, then a 14 day clock starts on adding pictures to that card. Once you add that card to your online account, you have 30 more days before the pictures expire.

Thanks so much! I just ordered it. We leave in 20 days!
