Are there usually lines of people waiting for Photopass photographers? If so, about how long are the lines? We'll be there in June. Thanks.

I have never seen any lines because either the guests will go up to them and ask to have their picture taken or the Photopass photographers might come up to them and ask if they want their picture taken.

Yes, there were lines over Christmas at the "popular" backgrounds (christmas trees, lights, castle), but only like 2 or 3 families ahead. And if you count the photopass at the characters then FOR SURE! Sometimes if you see a photog standing around in an "unusual" spot it means that a character is coming (we caught Hook this was).

Well when it comes to seeing the characters and other things like holiday decorations there would be lines, but chances are there won't be lines when the backround is Cinderella's Castle or the Sorcerer hat at Hollywood Studios.

Sometimes there were lines for the general backgrounds, but that could have been due to the crowd level and/or the time of day...get them done first thing or as they were leaving.

The icons all have several photographers, usually every 20 or so feet down the street, or in clusters depending on the park layout. As the PP's have said, if there is a line, it is usually only a few families.

The longest lines I saw on my December trip were on Main Street USA and at the Partners Statue. As Mountdew1 said, there are multiple photographers along Main Street, but all of them had a small line of 3-5 individuals, couples, or groups. The lines at the Partners statue are confusing, because people seem to forget the concept "wait your turn" and jump in whenever they want to.

There were also shorter lines of 1-3 individuals, couples, or groups at the photographers at the Epcot entrance plaza (because of the Christmas topiaries), and the walkway from Future World to World Showcase (because of the Lights of Winter and the Christmas tree).

And the many photographers in the Streets of America at DHS always had at least one person, couple, or group queued up to get their pics taken with the Osborne Lights.

I saw no lines at any of the photographers in Animal Kingdom.

Once the Christmas decorations come down, many of these lines will evaporate.

We encountered lines in front of the Castle at MK in Sept( but it was later in the day).We also encountered long lines during the MNSSHP for pics in front of the HM hearse and Cindys glass carriage.Plus lines in the character meet and greets.Other than that we really did not have to wait at all.
