Photopass Editing Questions

I love those pictures that h ave characters such as Simba or Tink or Captain Hook edited in. I also like the signatures and the other details etc that are placed in the photopass pictures.

I was wondering if the photopass pictures come to you that way or do you have to edit them? Do you have to make special request for special characters or does the Photopass CM just pose you? How hard are they to edit before you get the actual cd?

Some of them are staged by the photographer, but most of the things (borders, signatures) are added once you go to the photopass website.

Adding signatures and borders is very easy and can be done on the web site after you upload your photos.

If you want the special pics with characters added, I would suggest asking the photopass photographer when he/she takes your picture. I'm not sure if they occasionally do this on their own but they didn't for us. Last year I didn't realize I had to ask for it and we didn't get any pictures with characters added. This year I will be asking.

I just got back last night and while we were there I had to ask the photographer for the various shots, BUT! not ALL of the photographers know how to do some shots, AND some can only do specific ones at specific times, like the LILO one sitting on the bench they only did around the time that the parade was happening. Also there's a new balloon one that NO ONE knew how to do. Also, some shots are specific to locations, baby simba only available at AK, Darth Vader only near jedi training, hook only near potc, and the ghost only at HM... Have fun!
