PhotoPass Discount

I would love to pre-order the CD and use the discoutn. However, we will not return from our until early Sept, and ordering our CD probably the end of Sept. But I read that you could only "pre-purchase the PhotoCD up to 60 days before your vacation. The codes are set to expire after 60 days after purchase, so please allow yourself ample time after adding the photos to order the PhotoCD (i.e., it's best to order no sooner than 30 days prior to your vacation's start)."

But they also said that "Note that although the coupon code will expire after 60 days of purchase, some guests have reported success by getting it re-activated by Disney's PhotoPass support. "

Has anyone had it re-activated? Is it too much of a risk to order it that early and should I just eat the $15 savings?

Thanks!

I pre-ordered my CD the other day, and we're not going until 8/24 and coming back right before Labor Day. When I asked about that, I was told there wouldn't be a problem ordering the CD now to use in August/September.

Thank you for sharing. I just preordered the cd and photobook. The discount came off of both!!! YEAH!! Thanks again:woohoo:

Great to know!!! Thank you

I called to cancel an existing pre-order today and was told that June 15th was the last date you could use this code for ordering your cd - in effect, you had to be through editing your photos by June 15th and be ready to request the cd be sent by that date. Am I being steered wrong by the fellow on the other end of the phone?

I would guess that it was a case of the CM not knowing what was going on, but I am not positive. Anyone know anything about this for sure??

Wait, I am confused, you DON'T Need to be a Disney Visa Holder in order to get this discount?

If so THANKS A BUNCH! :)

Thank you OP!!!! We decided to do the CD + Photo book deal and got it for $127.46. I remember getting my Disney rewards newsletter, but I must have overlooked this promo. I will have to start paying more attention from now on for other potential deals! :goodvibes

Will someone help me with this please....:rotfl2: We will not be going until Sept. If I order this now, am I right in thinking that we will only have to reset our pin number to access this. I am at 90 days out on June 21st, a few days after the deadline. Advice please:worship:

Thanks OP!! Just ordered for our trip in August. :cool1:

I don't see anything anywhere on the site that states that you only have a certain number of days to use a "pre-arrival" CD so I can't see that being a problem. And, if I am reading it right, if you end up not wanting to order the CD after the trip (i.e., if you didn't get many photos taken or don't them or whatever and don't think it's worth it--) you can still request a full refund within 2 weeks of your trip completion. Here is what my confirmation e-mail said:

Thank you for purchasing Disney's PhotoPass CD pre-arrival savings offer! Please keep this e-mail in a safe place as you will need it to order your PhotoCD after you return home from your Walt Disney World® Resort vacation.

What To Do Next:

Step 1: Visit the Parks and get lots of Disney's PhotoPass photos taken. Look for our photographers throughout the Parks and they'll be happy to make sure your CD is filled with as many photos as you'd like. The first photographer you see will give you a Disney's PhotoPass card you can use for your entire stay. View park maps and photographer locations!

Step 2: After your vacation, go to DisneyPhotoPass.com to view your photos. You will need to log into your account using your email address and password. Be sure to claim your photos within 30 days of your vacation!

Step 3: Claim any Disney's PhotoPass cards you used during your trip by entering the ID numbers after you log in.

Step 4: Place your order to recieve your PhotoCD.

Note: Additional shipping charges may apply if your order contains other products.

Thank you OP!!!! We decided to do the CD + Photo book deal and got it for $127.46.

Can you explain this...Is there a buy together deal? I went on the site and looked at the photo books and it reads as if on the cheaper book you cannot use your photopass pictures...you have to buy the more expensive $75 book???

So I was wondering if there was a buy together deal where you got the cd and the $75 book for that price?

Thank you.

That is not what it says on the pre-visit ordering page for the CD/book deal... see: http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

Thank you, exactly what I needed. Its says a $204 value so I am assuming its the $75 book....which allows for the photopass photos.

What a great deal to be apply to appy this discount on top of the discounted package....I wasn't planning on adding a book....but now I may re-think...

Okay - someone else please help me. I just spoke to Consuela at the Photopass #. According to her, the codes expire from 60 days when they are ordered, and she didn't know anything about the resetting of PIN #s. She obviously wasn't much help. I'm thinking maybe I'll just wait to order?:confused3

I'm confused, since my credit card was charged for the CD when I placed the order, how can this expire?:confused3 When I called and told them my vacation is the end of August and asked if I could pre-order my CD now, I was told there was no problem doing this. She also told me that I didn't have to have my PIN reset.

Is it written anywhere that PINs have to be reset after a certain amount of time?
