Photopass Disaster

We returned last Sunday from our very first trip to Disneyland. We had such a great time and were looking forward to looking at & purchasing the many photopass pictures we had taken. I entered the photopass number this morning. The first time, it said "invalid number" (or something like that). Everytime I tried it after that, it says that the photpass was already added - but no pictures are coming up. :eek: I sent an email to the photopass people, but have to wait 24-48 hours for a response.

All 4 days of our vacation pictures are on that pass. Even though we took pictures of our own, there were a lot of very unique & special pictures we had taken by the photopass photographers. I'm so upset! :sad:

Has anyone else ever had this problem? And if so, were they able to find your pictures afterwards? I'm hoping for some encouragement here. :worried:
 
I've heard of many cases where Disney was able to find the pictures even after they didn't show up. You may want to review the photos you've taken with your camera and look for little details like what shirts the people in your group was wearing as information like that can help Disney find the missing pictures.

They should be able to find them. :goodvibes I had a few problems (very few) with a couple of our cards. Other than a few missing shots that never showed up, they were able to resolve all the other issues.

One time they told me that the missing photos (had been accidently added to another account?) were now loaded to my account. When I checked (about 12 hrs. after receiving email) the pix still weren't there. I sent another email and told them they hadn't shown up. By the time they responded (a few hours later) the pix DID show up. In the email I then received, they explained that since I had over 1000 pix it may take awhile.

And as other PP have said, look at the pix you took yourself and if you need to provide Guest Services with additional info, you can. Date and time stamps are great if you used a digital cam.

But be patient, more than likely they will be able to track them down, especially since it's the entire account that is missing, not just a few pictures. I had to have 2 cards switched over to my account. One was my own mistake as I reused a card from the prevoius year and it was already registered with a different account. They were able to switch it over to me. :goodvibes The other problem was with someone else who when they went to load their card, got the same error you did. She assumed her boys may have uploaded it already but GS was able to add them to my account. Maybe, looking back, the kids hadn't uploaded, it may have just been a problem with the site. I know that the site has been temporarilly unavailable for the last few hours-upgrading they say.

I read, probably last week, almost the exact post by another person. It's some sort of glitch that's going on, that gets resolved without actual help.

Do they reuse numbers or do all cards have new numbers?
 
It turned out I had photos missing when I uploaded my pass at the beginning of the week.

I shot off two e-mails to the Photopass people because it were photos from two days, different places and different events.

They found the missing photos from the Halloween party in less than 48 hours.

However they did not find the one other photo missing, a special shot with Captain Hook worked in. The other photo the photopass guy did is on the account, so I guess for some reason he never actually took that one or something went wrong when he tried to upload.

I hope you get your pictures. Your problem sounds more like the part of my problem that they solved, so fingers crossed!
 
Good news - I had a little Disney magic sprinkled on me. pixiedust: My photos all turned up on the Photopass website! I'm so happy & thankful. :banana: :banana: :banana:

I was told by a cast member that it could take up to a week to see your photos. They said that the photos are sent to Florida for review, before they let you see them. To prevent any "bad" photos.

My CD took about 7 days to arrive, maybe even a little longer. Then again, I chose standard shipping, not express or anything like that!

I can't wait to see some of your pictures over on the 'PhotoPass Poises - the Cheesier the Better' thread - even if they are not cheesy! I always love looking at people's photos, and I really like that PP thread. It is a happy, fun thread!:goodvibes :santa:
