PhotoPass CD vs. Memory Maker

Can someone tell me the difference between the PhotoPass CD and the Memory Maker? We always pre-order the PhotoPass CD before we go but I would like some information about the Memory Maker and the Disney Website doesn't provide much.

I could be wrong here but I believe the memory maker allows for your photos to be available instantly for download and can be downloaded by others that you choose to share with. Rather than waiting for a CD in the mail.

When speaking to a CM they said the same thing, the download is the only difference. But some CMs can be more accurate then others.

Can anyone tell me if you can link the memory maker to more than one person in the party? I linked the memory maker to my name but want to link it to my husband as well.

I was wondering the same thing --I think so just by what I'm reading on the photopass website. The difference is that now we can link it to our resort reservation.

I nearly ordered it but now it's talking about shipping charges... why would I want it shipped if I haven't even taken my trip yet? and what exactly are they shipping?

this is one of those cases where Disney's website is just ridiculously confusing -- all hype and warm-fuzzy text, without the details I need to know before I purchase

ETA: I clicked on chat in MDE -- there is no CD included. They send a voucher to you before your trip so that you can get pictures taken. There is a photo CD available for an extra charge but you have to call the reservations phone number to get pricing. I just think that's weird -- maybe there are different prices for people with WDW reservations?

Does anyone know if you can add everyones magicbands to the one acct? My mom had added hers to her MDE acct to do adrs before trip(and it stays there for her pass info and such) and then I couldn't add her band pics to my photopss act, so we weren't able to have any of the photos that the photographer swiped her band .

Called photopass and they said they couldn't help.

All of our magic bands show up on our room reservations since we're all staying together. So if the MM is added to our account we should all be able to use it. Was your mom staying in another room?

Sounds like it's not as easy to use as PP since with that you could combine everyone's cards (which makes sense if you're all taking the trip together)

The web page says everyone in your traveling party (not room) and when I booked 3 rooms with linked reservations, only needed 1 package
