Photopass CD preorder for DVC members?

Does anyone have experience with this or know how I go about it? I'd rather ask here first before I go through calling member services.

There is no special DVC pre-order, just the standard one that is open to all. Member Services can't assist with that at all as far as I know, you have to go through Photopass.

I've used the regular photopass before and received the CD with all of our photos. I want to get the Photopass+ for my upcoming trip. Do you get a CD with the + option? Looking at the website, it doesn't say. It just says you have 30 days to claim your photos and can have ride/meal photos included as well.

It also says you can upload your own photos to the site. Is that true? I thought I read somewhere you couldn't upload your own photos, but I may be mistaken.

I will be the one holding the photopass+ card. If we split up and others get photos on a regular photopass card, can I still upload them to the + account (talking about reg. pics, not the ride/meal photos)?

You do get the CD with the + option. The Plus gives you the digital images of the ride photos, the digital images of character meal photos, AND the photo print packages from the character meals.

You can upload your own photos to the site/your account, but they will not be on the Photopass CD.

Yes, other regular pp cards can go onto your account, and will go on your CD.

You can add them to photobooks and other products. That might be the biggest reason to do it.

They have borders that you can add, but the personal-photo borders are really really sad compared to the borders they have for the photopass photo borders. But if for some reason you just LOVE the personal-photo borders, you can order prints and even a personal archive CD for something like 19.99.

But I bet photobooks are the biggest reason. I personally prefer to make a book on shutterfly, because I find the Disney books to be too much. Goofy page with a picture taken with and or of Goofy and then Goofy "stickers" on the page? No, not my style. I'll take a plain page with my picture with Goofy.
