We just got back from a FABULOUS trip
i have tons of photos (took over 1400--but will whittle down to around 600)

and i got 49 taken on photopass

so
i am playing around w/ it (i am pretty happy w/ the pictures, though i was thinking there would be a few more borders--)
and i keep getting a prices of 149.xx

so i look around (google) and see that my name is associated w/ WDW
and that is why it is coming up at that price?

it says it will adjust itself
but short of putting in all my c.c.# info (and doesn't say we will have a chance to review before final purchase)

i want to know HOW to change it so it is 59.xx

any help?
Please & Thank you!

The price you will be charged is based on the park you uploaded last. So if the last card you uploaded starts with DLR then the price of $59.95 should come up automatically. If the last card uploaded starts with WDW then you will be charged the WDW price.

This is a slight chance from last year when the price you were charged was based on the park you were last in, not necessarily the last card uploaded.

Last year I went to WDW and DLR during the same time period. We went to DLR last. This year I did the same thing but I kept getting the WDW price to come up. I contacted PP and they told me it's the last card uploaded. I was sharing my CD with a few friends and one of them uploaded their WDW card late, after I had done my last DLR card. So I extended my time frame (paid $4.95 for 7 days) and made a trip to DLR to get come PP taken. Final Price charged was fofr DLR.

If your last card entered was from DLR and you're still getting the WDW price call PP directly and find out what happened. Or you can email them but it will take a few days to get an answer.

If your last card entered was from WDW then you are stuck paying the WDW price unless you can get to DLR and get some more PP taken-on a new card.

It doesn't matter if you goggled yourself and WDW came up-the price charged is based on the last card uploaded.

I've had DLR and WDW PP on one CD for a 2 years now, always get charged the DLR price.

Good luck!

BTW, you didn't use a WDW PP card while at DLR did you? That would explain it if you did.

thank you for your in-depth post!

looks like i am out of luck? (though i will try to call tomorrow to see if i could get it changed)

actually
upon thinking about it
the last time i went
it was to DL

it had my "current" email (i move around a lot--military)
and we went a yr ago

i never looked at the price b/c i was never planning on getting pictures ...

i HAVE been to WDW
but that was way back in 2005
and on a different email (for sure)

anyway
so i don't know how i ever got started w/ that price to begin w/...

also
i got the cards (both) at DL
and i got a brand new one (though i had the old one)

we'll see if they let me do it or not

i only got 49 photos (and played around w/ 3--probably would have about 100 or so if i get lots of borders)

thanks again for your reply!

oh
and when i mean i "googled myself"
i mean
i tried to find the ANSWER using google (which you have now answered--about getting my price changed)

just wanted to clarify that! lol

If your cards are all from DLR then you should be getting the $59.95 price. Definitely contact PP to straitghten it out.

Side-note:I've read that the "card entered last" trick was fixed, and now it's whatever park you visited (and had photopass pix taken at) last sets the price.

But that's not your issue.

I've read that just waiting a couple days "fixes" the issue (they must use microsoft products, LOL). I might clear cookies and cache (unless you use firefox on a mac I can't tell you how, 'cuz I can't remember on other systems!), then wait. It's a known weirdness and time has been working for some people. :upsidedow

Please let us know if you figure out why you're being charged the higher WDW price even though you entered DL photopass cards. I have upcoming trips at WDW & DL and am hoping to get the lower DL price by entering my DL card last, so I'd like to learn what may cause a pricing issue for you.

Is the 59.95 the price for the DL photopass CD?

Is the 59.95 the price for the DL photopass CD?

Yes, if only DL Photopass cards are loaded on the online account, then that should be the price of the CD as the DL CD is lower priced than the WDW one.

I've read that if there's a mix of DL & WDW cards on the online account, then the price is determined by the last card loaded, but I can't personally confirm that.

This was the case in early Nov. when I ordered my last CD. It was based on last card uploaded. I even confirmed this with a live person at PP (by phone). This was contrary to last year when it was based on the park you were in last (date taken).

This created a small problem as one of my group entered his last WDW card after I had entered my last DLR one. It meant I had to make a trip to DLR to get some PP taken to reset the price. It worked, and I paid the $59.95 price.

bumbershoot mentioned that this may have changed. I would call Disney PP when your trip nears to see how they are doing it-last card uploaded or date last picture taken.

Just had this happen in October/November. Even though the last card loaded was from Disneyland, the last trip taken was to WDW. We had both cards in our account and were charged the WDW price until taking a last minute trip to Disneyland to get a new Photopass card for the account. I called and was told it is the last park visited, no matter what card is loaded last. 100% sure.
