Photopass and pictures from Akershus Dinner

We ate dinner at Akershus and received our pictures after eating dinner. I read someplace you can utilize the code number on the top of the picture and download it to your photopass account which I did.

However, there were several other families that must of been on the same code number at the Akershus as their pictures with Belle were downloaded as well. There were also pictures of receipts which I am assuming were to help the CM identify which family gets which picture at dinner.

Does that mean those families cannot access their pictures even if they wanted to? When I closed out and then went back and in tried the number again it said that it had already been used.

I would feel bad if they cannot access their pictures!!

They should have told you to take it to a photo center and the cm would add it to your photopass from the receipt or at least that is what they told us at Ohana's and Mickey's bbq and Donald's Safari breakfast in Nov 08

Has anyone taken receipt from chef mickeys and had it added to photopass

No one told us anything at the dinner. I think I read it here on the boards that you can do it with the number on top of the photo. I guess I am lucky I was able to get the photo. But feel awful if the others can not get their photo.

We have tried in the past to get number at the top of photo for this purpose but cm always seems to come back to get it before we get it wrote down as it is quite long .

I am not sure what you mean...do you not keep your photo package that is given to you after dinner? The CM gave us our photo package after dinner. I looked quickly at the picture and then tucked it away. I did not look at it until we got back to our house in our home state. I pulled out the picture from the folder it came in and typed in the number at the top of the picture. The CM did not take anything back.

I may have miss understood the post I thought instead of buying photo pkg at chef mickeys you could go to guest service with numbers at top of picture pkg and have this added to photo pass so when you ordered your photo cd the picture from chef mickeys would be on this cd

You should have been able to go home, put the number in from the edge of your picture (the new way) or your receipt (the old way) into Photopass and pulled up only your pictures. WDW made a mistake somewhere. We have been to a total of 7 character meals in our last 2 trips, and we only had this happen once- at CRT. We had pictures of the family that was in front of us come up on our photopass number. I'm guessing it was a camera glitch. Putting the code on the edge of the picture is new. When we were there in December, the code was on your receipt. In May, they were putting it on the picture itself not the receipt. I'm guessing the camera might glitch and accidently put the same code on more than one- or maybe it wasn't the same code at all, but the pictures were just somehow saved wrong or even put in double places somehow. I wouldn't worry too much about the other people because chances are if they can't pull their pictures up and they E-mail WDW on the photopass website about the missing pictures, Disney will be able to locate the pictures for them and get them on their Photopass too.

Goofy's mom...Ok...now I get where you are coming from. At Askershus...its included in the dinner price...we did not pay extra (well, I am sure the price of the dinner was iincreased due to the "free" photopackage)

KTLM...thanks...I didn't have my receipt. So, yes, I put in the number that was at the top of the picture. In addition to mine, 6 other families showed up...oops!! Hopefully, as you stated, they can just call and get their pictures...that is, if they know they can or if they are even utilizing the photopass system.

We will be eating at Chef Mickey in Dec so I will check receipt when we pay and see if I can find a number, we have plenty of pic. with our cameras and th photo pass we don't pay at CM for the extra pic. We have done that mea; and also the castle where your pic is included in dinner price.
