Photopass and Photopass+ with Magic Bands

I have pre purchased Photopass+ for my family visit in January. We have two reservation numbers and I have registered for the Photopass site and updated the friends and family to be able to share my photos. The Photopass+ is linked to my reservation.

My question is regarding sharing the photos from the other reservation. Do they have to register for Photopass too and then share their photos with me? I know that before Magicbands they would just get extra Photoplus cards and I could add them to my account. Not sure how this works with Magicbands.

I really just want to make sure that all the family's pictures are available for me to put on my Photopass+ CD even if I'm not there when some of the pictures are taken.

I also understand that some people's attraction photos are appearing automatically without them having to get them linked after the ride. Is this true? If so how would this work with Photopass+? It would be really great if we split up and the others can ride attractions and their pictures get uploaded when I am not there. If this isn't automatic with the bands for the other group, since I will still still get a Photopass+ card, could I give that to my other group and collect my attraction photos just with my Magicband?

Sorry about the long post but this is getting ever more complicated and I don't even want to think about Memory Maker!

I'm wondering the same thing! We have 2 reservation numbers and my mother-in-law added Photopass + to her package. I am hoping she will be able to add our pictures to hers.

She hasn't even signed up for the Photopass website as she keeps assuring me that when she added it to her package they told her everything was all set and she didn't need to do anything else. She said they told her on the phone that all our photos would be on it, but I'm still worried they won't be!

PhotoPass plus you need the lanyard there to add ride photos. You won't be able to pick then up with your bands. They are not adding photos to your account unless you head to the kiosk and claim them.

If everyone is linked on the reservation their photos should show up. Otherwise they'll have to create an account and you friend request each other

I think the photopass plus, anyone in your reservation number can use them. I remember that someone in my party in a different room, we were in on a ride but the person who actually had photopass plus wasn't there. The CM said as long as someone in the same room and reservation number can add photos to the photopass plus using the MB

Although, when we got home some of our ride photos appeared in the photopass section in the MDE, but we didn't order any photos from the rides! We ended up purchasing them until after the fact......

We didn't order/sign up for PP while we were there
