I have had a look for this info but I don't find it particularly clear so some extra explanation would be appreciated!!

I have bought photopass + for our upcoming trip but have a breakfast reservation on our first morning in the parks at Plaza Inn Minnie and Friends. I have read some conflicting reports about whether or not they take a photo of you upon entry - do they still do this?

If so, is this included with our photopass +? We will not have got our card yet as our reservation is at 7:10 and the park doesn't open until 8 so if they take a photo, will this be a problem?

I don't know if i've explained this very well but hopefully it makes a bit of sense!!

We were in a similar situation--character breakfast in first day before the parks opened. I have no idea if they'll do it at Minnie and Friends, but they activated my PP+ during breakfast at Surf's Up. When they came around to get me to buy the photo package, I just explained that it was our first day and we hadn't been in the parks yet, and that I had a PP+ but it wasn't activated yet. I asked if we should buy the photos and then get a refund when we activated, or what. The Photo CM asked if I had the voucher with me, and when I got it out, she took it into some back room and came back with the lanyard and the photos in a bag and we were set.

It was totally unexpected. I was planning on following the advice I had read here, to purchase the photos, keep the receipt, get a refund when activating the PP+ at the camera shop.

So, yes, the photo package is included with the PP+. Whether you have to buy the package and then get a refund when you activate at the camera shop, or whether they'll activate it in the spot is unclear.

We had to pay for the session, which included the prints, but they added all of the photos from the session to the PP+.

I made reservation to have dinner at Goofy's Kitchen on our arrival day, so hope they can activate the PP+ right there as well. I will sure bring my PP+ email confirmation and voucher with me. We are actually stay at PPH, so maybe I should just stop by PCH Grill and ask if they can activate it too. We are not going to Surf Up breakfast till our last day.

We did Goofys kitchen on arrival day 2 weeks ago, and I handed over my photo pass voucher and they gave me the lanyard threre

Thanks all, that info definitely helps, hopefully they will be able to exchange out photopass at breakfast.

One more question though! While browsing the info for the photopass it says -

Tableside photo purchase required to add dining photos to your Disney's PhotoPass ID.

So does this mean that in order to get the photo from breakfast on our photopass we have to purchase the hard copy of the photo? If so, does anyone know how much these usually are?

I swear, sometimes the simplest thing ends up making me way more confused than it should!!

Breakfast photos are included and you do get the photo package for free as long as you give them your PP+ when you enter and get your picture taken. The one thing I did not know until I got home and found my dining photos not on my account was that for Surf's Up (that's which one we did) you had to take the code from one of the actual hard copy pictures and input it onto the account as another PP number. Our dinner one they found and added to our account though.

We did Goofy's Kitchen on arrival day in December. They wrote down the photos session number for us and said they would print it for us when we got to the photo store the next day. They actually had the GK photo folders there and everything. I would have preferred having it activated at GK, but that wasn't offered to us as an option.

What's in the photo package? Eating at Surf's Up next Tuesday and have the PP+ as well!!

When we did it 2 years ago, I think it came with an 8x10 of DS and Mickey, then 2 5x7's. One of DS and mickey and then one of all of us and mickey.

For our Surf's Up package we got 2 pics that are actually 6x8 but the frame they are in is 8x10 (I just measured the actual pictures). The two smaller pics are 4x6's. We were the first ones in so got a picture just the two of us with Stitch and then the rest are with Stitch and Mickey.

We had the same thing. We had breakfast at Plaza Inn and didn't have our PP+ activated yet. We had our photo taken and when they came around with it later, I let them know that we didn't have the PP+ yet but were going straight over after breakfast to exchange our voucher. She wrote down a number from memory on a piece of paper. When we went to get our PP+, they printed up the photo for us and put it in the folder and made sure that all of the photos they took were on our PP+ card. It was very easy.

Does anyone know if BBB pictures are included?

This is the info I got from Disney:
