Photogs: Thirteenth Moon ?

Daughter starting to research and read reviews on photographers. In the running are the Arndt's, Regina H. and just stumbled across Thirteenth Moon.

Haven't seen much discussion on DIS about them---I did find a couple (positive) reviews. I guess we're just curious why not more people use Thirteenth Moon on these forums ? Anything negative that anyone has heard ? My daughter likes their style very much.

There are TONS of wedding photographers in Orlando you won't see mentioned here. This board tends to go in cycles where a bride or two will use a new photographer, others will see their photos and want that photographer, and then they become the flavor of the month. Eventually they settle into being one of the handful of photographers consistently recommended by users here. But we represent a tiny fraction of the people having weddings at Disney and in Orlando. If you go over to other central Florida-focused wedding forums, you'll see that those members have their own sets of favorite photographers, DJs, florists, etc.

Which is all to say, don't let a lack of reviews on the DIS scare you. Maybe your daughter will be the one to introduce the couples on this board to a new favorite.

I considered them, but ultimately went with Regina because she has more experience with Disney weddings in particular and I think she will know the drill like the back of her hand.

However, 13th moons work is very good and they were super nice when I spoke with them.

I'd say have a phone call with all three and pick who you click with.

I didn't use Thirteenth Moon for wedding pictures, but did have them take family pictures. They did an amazing job. Bill and Rachel take such good care of the people they are working with, while also taking beautiful pictures at reasonable prices. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I did a vow renewal (since I'll never need wedding photog )

When I was looking for a photographer I scanned this board and did find a few things about Thirteenth Moon. And when I checked out their site and loved loved loved their work. I narrowed it down to them and Regina Hyman and then let my fiance make the final decision and he liked Regina's style better. I personally liked Thirteenths better, but the fact that Regina was A) very prompt with replies and B) had worked for Disney previously and knew the ins and outs put it in her favor.

But I absolutely loved their portfolio and they had reasonable prices. Plus you get 2 photographers, and I don't think Regina offers that.
