I've never heard anyone regretting videography! We're using Shutter Life Productions.

Can everyone please post who they are using or used for photography and videography (and if company has many different photographers or videographers please add who specifically you will have) And if your wedding has already happened can you please post a quick review of photography & videography person and pics or video links.

As of right now...we are using Disney Event Photography. I'm not super, duper happy about it...but we just feel like we don't have a ton of choice. The photographers we WANT to use (The Roots) come up to be just as much as Disney...even with the credit in their packages for products. I absolutely adore their work...but I feel like a wedding that we've already estimated to be $17K is going to come in around $20K (and that's not including the reception at home after the wedding). I can't push it much more.

I've now heard from people who have had good experiences and bad ones (though, admittedly, I've heard more bad than good) with Disney. So...now I'm just crossing my fingers that I'll be one of the "good" ones. I've already kind of put Disney on notice that I'm "onto them" by having shown them Carrie's MK session photos. So...hopefully, that motivates them to make my photos BEAUTIFUL...otherwise, I will make sure that people know.

On the upside to Disney's photographic services...if you use them, you get to book your sessions a year in advance. That, on its own, is worth it (assuming the pictures are pretty...). I have to just keep crossing my fingers though. An MK session is up to like what, $1,800 now? If it sucks, I don't know what I'm going to do.
