Ok here I am again asking yet another question...

I was looking into either upgrading my photo package with Disney,,or hiring Randy Champman photography for my wedding.

It turns out that Randy is kind of available but not really as he is already booked for that day and would have to show up early to my wedding and leave early. Which might be ok,,my wedding will be small...we aren't really having a reception,,(we're going to the "Spirit of Aloha" Dinner show rather than a traditional reception),,but I really would like as much of the wedding day captured as possible.

Can anyone give me some advice?? I liked that Randy included negatives with his package,,Disney does not.

I do like that Disney includes a 5x7 album,,but no negatives,,well not afforbably priced.

Can anyone recommend either another photographer,,or maybe I should just go with Disney??

We used Disney Photo for our pictures, long story of a nightmare after the fact but they made it as right as they could. The photos themselves were wonderful, they just "lost" my order and then would not fulfill my contract because they didn't offer the options we bought anymore. On the bright side, I recevied all of my negatives.

The bright side, our photographer was Damon Tucci, and he now has his own business. His pictures were really beautiful, he has a great eye. Here is his web site, I totally recommend him:

I have no idea if his prices are competitive because for us it was a long time ago, but it is worth taking a look.

I actually talked with Damon Tucci this morning and am currently leaning towards using him for our wedding,,*smiles*.

His intimate package is reasonably priced and includes a 30 5x7 finished album, 30 4x6 prints and a high res. negative CD. I have an appointment to talk to Jeff Hawkins on Monday but I think he will more than likely be out of my price range and we are actually on a budget as we are buying a house this year as well!

I was thinking of going with Randy Chapman,,but I really want a finished album,,and he only offers the proof album,,although he was really great to talk to,,choosing a photographer is hard when there are so many good ones to choose from!

Thank you again for the recommendation,,*smiles*.

You should also check out Gary Fox's disney special :) I believe there is intimate pricing as well. That's who we picked for ours in November. ~arlene

We used Gary back in November 2002 for our custom wedding and I highly reccomend him! We got all our proofs, an album for us, 2 parent albums, and all our negs. I won't even mention the price, since I'm sure it's changed in 2 years, but it was competitive. And the photos were GREAT! I originally wanted Jeff Hawkins, but he was out of our budget. I'm totally happy with what we got from Gary.

Hello again,,:)

I actually did contact Gary Fox,,but unfortunately he is not available for my wedding date,,:(

Ok,,Ive narrowed it down to either Randy Chapman or Damon Tucci. Ive seen lots of Randy Chapman's work but not much for Damon Tucci so it's hard to decide,,:(

I wish I could see more of Damon Tucci's work,,that might help me decide.

Does anyone have any advice on this matter??

I should be talking to Randy today about maybe adding a finished album to his intimate package maybe that will help me decide,,:)

I wish I could share my pictures that Damon took, but we only have a video tape and negatives, thanks to Disney Photo Services. I can only tell you he captured all the "moments" we treasured, both at the ceremony and reception. He also was wonderful with our guests who wanted to take photos of their own. He set up shots, had everyone take theirs and then took his so there were no flash conflicts.

He was almost invisible at the ceremony, but had some spectacular up close shots of us looking into eachothers eyes during our vows and did a ton of family type pictures at the reception. Our wedding day was also my Grandma's 70th birthday, and it was the last time we were all together in one place before my Uncle and then Grandfather got sick. He captured those family shots of us singing to Grandma, of the different groups at each table, everything we would not have thought of.

Here's a question...

Does anyone know the difference between a Renaissance Milano album and a Library Bound album??

Is one better than the other??

Any help would be appreciated :)
