Does DL allow guests to set up a tripod for taking their own pictures?

The DLR will let you bring in your own tripod as long as it can fit inside a backpack or small bag. The DLR won't allow commercial tripods (media tripods) in the park. I bring my tripod when I go to the DLR and I set up for taking pictures of all different scenery, fireworks, shows, etc.
