Great participation on last month's assignment.

This month is still cold and frozen for many of us. I thought it might be a good idea to keep going with subjects that could be shot either inside or outside, your choice.

So often we shoot scenes that are right in front of us, literally. We don't always look around as much as we could. For this month, let's try to look Up and Down a little more. Show us what you see.

You get extra kudos this month if you shoot something Up or Down that's Red or having to do with Love. :lovestruc

Remember, shots should be new as the purpose of this assignment is to get us using our cameras.

Have fun!

Ok, I'll play! I went out for a walk yesterday with the camera and noticed some ice on a bush....

I totally missed last months assignment. I'll have to try this month. I know if I look down in my house I see a lot of mess. Ohh how I can't wait for the warn weather so I can kick the kiddos out side. I'll have to look UP!!

I took this in the Domninican Republic. It's the thatched roof of the restaurant where we ate on our last night. They told me, it was all hand crafted.

This is the interior of the light assembly of the Umpqua Lighthouse which is on the Oregon Coast. We were on a tour of the lighthouse and they let us stick our heads up into the lens area, this particular lighthouse uses a 1000 watt bulb (1 kilowatt).

I so wanna do this but Up is out and down is brown! Ick. I hate being stuck indoors. WAIT!! I can do Up at work. there must be somthing up. I got one for down too. Only one problem, neither will be really nice pictures like everyone elses.:sad1:

Couldn't decide where to put this one from today's snowfall - looking through my kitchen window, down onto our patio.

double post....sorry....still getting used to the mac.

Looking up at the back of the house today ... part of this overhanging snow fell ... good thing it waited till after I moved the camera and tripod. I had them set up taking pics using the remote release I recently got.
