I had an emotional few days taking my twin boys to college for their freshmen year, but I got a few more pics out of the trip! I only had my point and shoot with me and of course I saw a motorcycle with a sidecar - it went by and was gone by the time the camera could be turned on!!

This one replaces my previous moonlight. We caught the moon rising over the ocean the other night. It was pretty cool to watch. I had never seen the moon so red like this before.

I've been sick in bed for 4 days this week; so I've not been out stalking anyone at all!

But here is what I've managed to get this week....

Freight Train This category has mocked me for the last 3 months! Finally! A freight train that me and my camera managed to be in the same spot with.......

Relaxing in a Hammock. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this on the tube! Plus, I had my camera handy!

Summer Concert This is an outdoor concert that was happening at the festival I went to today. Can I count it?

Lemonade Stand* This was served as a palate cleanser at a molecular gastronomy style restaurant. The content is homemade lemonade, with a banana popsicle and pop rock candy on top (YUM!). Check out the stand underneath the lemonade.....

I couldn't run in front of this guy - by the time I got there, he had disappeared and I couldn't find him again. Otherwise I would have posted this sooner.

Whale in Ocean** I've been obsessing over this for a while. One of my friends finally tracked down a whale for me.

I don't do a lot of post-processing, but I did on this one and liked how it turned out. I desaturated it and put a vignette on it. Here's the original.
