WOW. I can't believe it's over already Where does the time go. I wish that I'd had more time to take & post more pictures but with work & school it was tough.

I have really enjoyed all the pictures everyone has posted. There are some amazingly creative people here on the DIS and I love looking at all your pictures, it has absolutly inspired me to go out, find & take better pictures.
I will be keeping my eye out on the photography board for any more of these type of assignments and will do my best to contribute more than I was able to this time around.

I will be posting a few more tonight, but I want to thank you for this scavenger hunt. It not only got me out with my camera more, but it also had me exploring places in the area I live to find things. I found some wonderful places that I would have never gone to had it not been for this scavenger hunt. It also has me looking at things differently and thinking of how to get the best shot with my camera.

I took my kids to the Westmoreland County Fair on Saturday - for fun and because I knew there'd be some scavenger hunt items there!

Fruit (prize winning with ribbon*)

Backwards* - One rides in a circle foward, one rides backwards .

A Win! - This must have been the stall of the winning llama at the county fair. The llama wasn't there though .

Quarter horse - Couldn't get a good shot - horse wouldn't cooperate!

A couple more I've been meaning to post:

Torpedo - I can't believe I actually found a torpedo! I stumbled upon this at a graduation ceremony at Soldiers & Sailors Hall near the University of Pittsburgh.

Quad or Quint – something, your choice (explain)* - 4 rungs on the playset at a local playground

Emblem - My oldest daughter went to a United Methodist church camp this summer. Here she is standing beneathe the UM emblem on a building at the camp.

Pool fun - Fun on an inflatable pool!

Riding Bicycle - I've always heard that Boulder, CO was a town where everyone rides bikes. They didn't dissapoint! We must have seen at least a hundred bikers in the area on our way to Rock Mountain National Park.

Penny Arcade* - My oldest daughter playing skeeball at a penny arcade we stumbled upon in Manitou Springs, CO.

Round (inanimate objects) - Let me know if this counts. My HOA has restrictions on fences - iron fences are allowed. I told my husband if we ever get a fence I want it to have the decorative circles like this one (at the Farnsworth House in Gettysburg, PA).

Inn sign* (Excludes chain hotels or inns) - Think I forgot to include this one with my original set of Gettysburg pictures. This is the Brickhouse Inn - a very nice place to stay in Gettysburg, PA.
