Adirondack Chair It's almost depressing that I walked miles around my local neighbourhood to find the previous example when all I had to do was look at the decking of one of my favourite coffee spots by the beach! There's a theme of blindness (mine!) in today's postings.

Queue* This was taken at 5 minutes before the polling booths open on Australian Election Day (21 August). After compulsory voting from everyone and a whole day of counting, we still don't know who won...might be another week before the obscurity clears!

Mountain - view from Top* This is my third visit up to the top of Mount Dandenong. The first time resulted in my update to 'foggy'. The second time was earlier this week, it started to hail when I got to the top. Today, when I woke up and realised it was fine and sunny, I raced up to the top for this shot.

Toad I found a candy shop on the way to Mt Dandenong on the second visit and saw this specimen on display.

And they make and sell these TOAD Chocolates, complete with warts, on premise. I had the choice of a variety of eye colours but settled on DisBoard Lime Green.

Wattle Park is found in a suburb of Melbourne.

It is known for its PLANTATION of wattle trees on site (Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wattle_Park,_Melbourne)

Lightning** Melbourne has a Science Works museum that I've visited about 15 times over the last 6 years with DS. Until this week, I've been totally oblivious to the fact that it holds this facility!

Notice the picture being held by the GIANT Frankenstein?

The audience is made safe by the presence of a GRID, the Faraday Cage.

Motorcycle with Sidecar** I've been hunting this species for the last 4 weeks and have visited every motorcycle sales yard in Melbourne! This week, I got lucky and one of the salesman gave me a lead for a collector with an Aladdin's cave of ANTIQUE motorcycles in the 'burbs. I have to admit that I almost turned around to head for home when I drove down the street where the warehouse was....it looked pretty dodgy.

The collector was amazingly kind to let me take these shots of his Indian 4 (and for anyone who is a bikey nut out there - yes, one that was made in Springfield), worth about $40K, even in the current condition the bike is in.

And not just the Indian 4 - He had this rarity that he *made* me sit on and take this shot.....He figured that I would google for facts and remember this moment for the rest of my life; and he wasn't wrong.

HARLEY DAVIDSON, with BIKER*. Okay, I admit that I'm no bikey....but you got to admit it fits nicely in with my off-ball postings.

And the HISTORIC fact on this Harley is amazing! It is a Harley Davidson that was in World War II; and only 1000 of these were ever made.
