Great participation on the Summer Assignment, Scavenger Hunt. Fun and learning at the same time - what could be better?
I'd like to continue the enthusiasm to keep people out shooting with this month's Assignment: Texture in Photography.
Texture is one of the elements in photography that can be the difference between a good photo and a GREAT photo by making your photos "Pop". Textures are everywhere. Let's see what we can find. Remember to find good lighting as well, and remember that varying angles in your photos will really help show your textures. Be imaginitive!
As a reminder, these Assignments are open to everyone regardless of skill level or type of camera you use - please do not be too intimidated to post. I'm hoping we'll see from both Newbs and Masters! (And everyone in between.) And all photos should be NEW, as the whole purpose of the assignment is to get out using your camera - hopefully we'll have some fun and learn a few things along the way as well.
Looking forward to seeing your photos! Keep your cameras with you and keep your eyes open for opportunities - they're all around you!
