Being cute is nature's defense mechanism. That's how he gets away with chewing on everything in my house (including me) and occasionally peeing on my floor.

He is cute while he's doing it, though.

Yes, cute definitely saves them. We got a puppy this summer. This afternoon I found she tore a hole in the screen of our back door. But then she just looks at you with those puppy eyes that say, I didn't mean to.

Yes, cute definitely saves them. We got a puppy this summer. This afternoon I found she tore a hole in the screen of our back door. But then she just looks at you with those puppy eyes that say, I didn't mean to.

As I wrote that note, it was raining outside. Once it was over, I took both dogs outside to relieve themselves.

There was a hole that the puppy had started digging a few days ago. It was full of water. He flew into it, stuck his head underwater and started digging as furiously as his little paws would go (which was pretty damn furious).

He came out looking like an Oreo - covered in mud from the mid-level down, plus his face. He ran at me full speed and...well. Puppy got a bath tonight and I spent a lot of time cleaning the floors. There's still dirt in the tub I'm trying to clean up.

Part of me wanted to take a picture of him like that, but that would have just meant more mud to clean up.

WBeem- darn cute puppy! When Hershey was a puppy she used to do the same thing in holes she made in our yard, only she is chocolate so the mud isn't quite so obvious on her.

We have restarted our quest for Hershey to finish hiking all 48 4000 ft peaks in NH.
Here she is on the summit of Mt Cabot- #47 for her

Here is Ginger. She is a mini horse my parents got from a rescue. She is going to be Sparky's new pal

Sparky- they got him around 3 yrs ago. They were told he was a mini horse but we actually are quite sure he has some mini donkey mixed it(the ears and his voice give it away). He is super cute but SUPER fresh!

Thanks!! We were working on "stay" right then, that's why she looks so focused! My golden HATES the camera though....I can't get him to sit and look at me like that, but the other animals just sit and stare at me.
