Both me and my husband were really confused when we saw your pup because at first glance we thought a random kid was holding our Brady. Ours is a beabull though. I posted him a page or two back...

Beautiful boxer though :)

Yep she is getting close to 8 months old now. Staples come out tomorrow

Ah, poor girl. Glad she's recovering. My 5 mo. old black lab loves playing with a 7mo. old chocolate lab at the dog park. Every time we tease him about her he gets all embarrassed and walks out of the room. Jake has got a girlfriend! :)

Here's another shot of him:

My baby's bad leg. She got attacked by my sisters shepard

Poor Belle! I know that pain. My choc lab ripped her side open on a screw under our trampoline 2 yrs ago. She was cut from the top of her belly all the way to the bottom - thru to the muscle underneath. It was absolutely awful. Saturday visit to the emergency clinic- a few weeks later had to be sewn up again because it was tearing apart. They had to put drains in. She now has a nice 9-10" scar- all for around $1200:scared1:
This was taken after the 2nd stitching.

I kept her in a t-shirt to keep the drainage off my carpets and furniture. She makes sure to get in the car 1st to secure a good seat;) We use the harness to buckle her in. She goes pretty much everywhere with us.

Aww, I'm sorry to see that. What happened?
My sister was going to watch her, so I took her over early to meet my sisters dogs. Her shepard attacked her.

Got the staples out today, now I can give her the bath she so desperately needs.

That's pretty nasty My2girls. When I was a kid we had a malamut that had a hernia when we got her, she riped those stitches out on the wood pile, her insides were spilling out. It cost my parents almost a grand to get her fixed and that was in the late 70's.

and we will do anything for our babies...

^ We sure will. We've only had Jake for about four months now, and I can't imagine life without him. He's growing fast, and my girlfriend hates it, but I look forward to him growing up, taking him with us on bushwalks and getting him comfortable in the kayaks.

Here's a "baby" announcement I created for family and friends using Creative Memories Storybook Creator 2 (scrapbooking) software. Some of you may have seen this on my puppy thread on the Community Board.
