Photographers?

Is there a list of photographers somewhere? I don't want disney ones because I don't like the packages.
Right now I'm looking at getting a local one and she'll fly down with us, and thats 4200, but it includes a high-res CD of all images, a second photographer, and a few other goodies. Thats a bit too much, so I'm trying to find my other options?

We used Randy Chapman and couldn't have been happier! Others have used Misty Motto, Roots, David and Vicki Arndt, and I am sure there are more.

I would suggest looking up their websites and looking at their work. Each has their own style and by looking at what they do, you can make a better choice. Also keep in mind, most of the ones I listed have packages and prices listed, but are also willing to work with you set up a package to suite your needs.

I don't think any one of the ones listed are better or worse. I think they all do great work; so it's more a matter of what style you prefer.

We used Randy Chapman, but I'd also suggest looking into Jess Cumbie. All the ones SWMHC listed and Jess have Facebook pages as well, so you can look them up on there too.

We used David and Viciki Arndt for our engagement pictures and LOVED them so much we've already booked them for our wedding In June 2012!! They are so much fun to work with and do tons of Disney weddings/family portraits/engagement pictures.

I'm not sure, we haven't booked anything yet. I'm hoping for the beach at the Grand Floridian and maybe the Attic at the boardwalk? Or another place at the Floridian...

We are using David and Vicki Arndt for our parents Vow Renewal and for our wedding. I used to work in Entertainment for years and have worked with them on Disney Weddings and have been in several weddings that they photographed. I love their albums and I love them. Can't say enough good things about them. They are professional and have been hand picked to shoot many of the Disney Executive and Couture Weddings.

I recommend David and Vicki Arndt. We used them for our wedding and our TTD session and will be using them for our maternity and family pics. That are such great people to work with.

I know they disney does this for brides who are having an escape or wishes wedding. Does anyone know if disney provides these services for DCL brides? If not could anyone recommend someone who does portrait sessions in the parks for a reasonable price? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ugh I'm frustrated already.
I'm a photographer myself, so I'm extremely picky about photography. I just asked one of the photographers several questions and they didn't answer any of the basics (equipment questions) just one of the others. I know it may not matter to some, but I want to be sure that I am getting better pictures than I could take/stage myself with my lower end DSLR. So I'm pretty much writing them off, I'll have to keep looking.

I have a question, I was thinking if I hired someone they could take pics of us at the park but that's not allowed? How does that work? Can guests not bring cameras then?

The Roots are professional photographers that have shot weddings all over the world. I know the other photographers mentioned on this thread are professionals and have done many weddings at WDW and other places.

I contacted them, they look amazing and their website is phenomenal! They are a bit steep but we'll see!
