Photographer's view of Boma

I am an amateur photographer that likes to eat. So I will be posting some of the restaurants that we visited. Me, DW, DD14, DD8. We had dinner at Boma this particular night. This is the one restaurant that our family had eaten at before and truly loved it. Two years ago when we first ate here the family was a little sceptical about eating at an African buffet but everyone was pleasantly surprised. This time we had a group of 8 of us. I mentioned this with Biergarten that I don't take as many photos of buffets just because of the logistics. So anyway here a selection of shots although I may not be accurate to what they are.

Bobotie - lamb and beef quiche with onions, raisins and bread.

This was a salmon with nuts and spices on top that was very good.

Durban Spiced Roasted Chicken

This was some kind of Tofu dish. Honestly I am not a big Tofu person so I did not try this.

FuFu - sweet and white potatoes mashed with coriander and cinnamon

Assorted vegetables

Zebra Domes

Assorted desserts I choose. One note, the pastry that looks like a lemon square is not and is very plain tasting.

One of our party was celebrating an anniversary so they brought them this nice tray of goodies.

I didnt know Bobotie had lamb, and raisins in it.... I probably didnt need to know that!!

To all the picky eaters checking in - it tasted like hamburger - with a bit of sweet (didnt know it was raisins!) Go with an open mind - take a taste - no worries!!
