Photographers at Meet & Greets??

Just wondered if they had photographers at the character Meet & Greets?? I know Disney do but wasn't sure if Universal had the same! Thanks!

Spongebob and Spider-Man did. No one else we saw did. And there weren't many photographers period outside of rides. A few at the gates is all we saw.

Ok thanks! I won't bother with Photo Collect then. Doesn't seem like we'd get much out of it. Only ride we going to do that's eligible is Harry Potter one so may as well just bring my camera and get the ride pic from Harry Potter ride Thanks for the info!

We used Photo Connect in August and loved it, but there were not many photographers around. They were with Transformers characters in addition to Spidey and Spongebob. We also found some at the front of the parks and in the Jurassic Park section. There is a cool photo spot during the line for the Spiderman ride too. We wound up with about 40 pictures. I loved the app so we could see the pictures on our phone immediately after they were taken. I think it is worth it for the price, especially if you preorder. There are not anywhere near as any photographers as in Disney, but the price is so much less.

I have so many pictures from photo connect. With characters, SpongeBob and Squidward, Transformers, Spiderman, Shrek with Donkey and Fiona, the mummy guy, the ET spots, and yeah there aren't that many around. There are more characters but didn't get to see them all. For the Simpsons characters they used my own camera. They do have that new spot with the Simpsons couch that you can take several pictures with photo connect and also the Jurassic Park spot. Then all the ride photos that have the pictures, you can have multiple.

I would not have any pictures of me without photo connect. But then again they also can use your own camera for those character pictures.

OK thanks. What's the picture quality like with Photo Connect though coz a load of people have said quality of pics with Disney's PhotoPass is bit and miss so don't want to pay for something and then get pics that are pretty poor quality.

I'm posting my Photo Connect pictures on my trip report if you want to get an idea of what they look like. Not all of them though because I have like 50 pictures. Most of them were taken on my US day. I didn't get to see all the characters though. And I'm making them smaller in size.

I never intended to discourage you from using Photo Connect. I love the pics we got and think it was definitely worth the $$. I just wanted to be clear that it isn't like Photopass with a photographer around every corner- but it also doesn't have the hefty price tag of PP. I'll be posting some of our pics in my TR if you'd like to take a look.

Yeah, might just do that thanks. Although to be honest, am taking $5280 and probably $3000 will go on food (lot of table service!) and transport. I've prepaid some of our food, photos and even souvenirs! Lol! As a result, will probably just say what the hell and get it anyways! Lol! Thanks for the help though!
