Photographer in Orlando

Does anyone do family photography in Orlando? Does Disney allow people to have a photographer come into the parks?

It's my understanding that Disney generally doesn't allow third-party photographers to take commercial photos in the parks. They'll allow it at the resorts.

The first time we took our daughter we hired a local photographer - Robyn Lynn.

Our goal was for everyone to enjoy the first few hours in the park without having to worry about photos.

Robyn did a fantastic job! Highly recommended!

Disney no longer allows third-party photographers in the park (as of 2009/2010), unless they are shooting a Disney Fairytale Wedding and have permission (as of 2013).

Now, that's not saying you couldn't go in and do it behind Disney's back. But reputable photographers in Orlando who shoot many Disney Weddings and family sessions will not risk getting caught in the park because their future business depends on it (if they get caught, they'll be blacklisted from future events). They will, however, shoot at any of the Disney resorts, Downtown Disney, or Disney's Boardwalk.

If you are set on going in the parks, you could hire a photographer who doesn't shoot much at Disney.

If you are still looking for a family photographer I will be in Orlando 9/10 to 9/24. I have written permission for WDW to take family portraits in the parks so there is no issues there.
