Photographer for Intimate Reception?

Hi Y'all,

We are having Randy Chapman as our photographer for our intimate wedding ceremony, which is at 2:30. We will be having dinner at Citrico's at 5:30. Has anyone added Randy on for the reception dinner? Do you think it would be worth it? And most importantly, does anyone even know if this is allowed? Thanks, guys!

TexasCourt, I don’t know if it’s allowed, but I think it’s worth looking into. Even if you only have photos taken prior to your dinner (outside the restaurant), it would still be nice to have them as a remembrance of how your wedding day unfolded. That way years from now, you can pull them out and tell your children, “This is where Mommy & Daddy had dinner, and where Daddy had a little too much to drink. I’m sure you’ve heard me tell you that story at least a thousand times by now.”

My daughter (Melmel) had her Intimate Wedding at Sunset Point at 3PM & Wedding Dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse at 5:30PM. We arranged for Randy to also photograph the wedding dinner. He spent the time between the wedding & the dinner taking pictures at the Poly & then since they had the limo for 4 hours, he took them over to the Grand Floridian for pictures both on the beach & inside the hotel, on the grand staircase. He even got photos of them "hitch-hiking" for the monorail. Then he came with them to the Yacht Club & got pictures outside, then joined us for dinner. He stayed until the cake cutting (yes, she had 2 wedding cakes). Once those pictures were taken, he left. Melissa was so glad we booked him for the couple of extra hours. Having the reception pictures was nice, but all the extra pictures he took while waiting for the dinner were priceless. In all, she got about 800 pictures on the CD.
P.S. Also, getting the CD as part of the package was a real plus. Since she got married in early December, everybody got wedding pictures for Christmas, that I printed out on the computer. Disney charges about $1,000 for the CD.

Not sure if this helps but we had Stan video some of our welcome party at Ohanas and they were more than helpful about that!
