Photocopy Park Tickets

We ordered our Park Hopper tickets yesterday, and we were told that Disney could not ship them to Canada. (Stupid rule!! ) So, we have to pick up our tickets at a park ticket window.

My question is... we had planned on photocopying the park tickets, just in case we lost them. Where can we have photocopies made in WDW? Our first day will likely be at MGM, and we won’t be back to our hotel (Hotel Royal Plaza – Downtown Disney) until the night of our first day. Will the people at the Disney ticket counter or our hotel photocopy the tickets for us? If not, where do we go? We will not have a car, so we have to rely on DTD & Disney transportation.

Keep your receipt!!

I believe that if you lose your tickets and have a receipt for them they can give you new ones..I remember them telling us that when we picked ours up last time at MGM. Unless things have changed...

I had one of the CMs at the (Boardwalk) hotel front desk make a photocopy for me on our trip this past May.

Turned out to be a good thing, b/c the night before our last day, which was to be at Epcot, sure enough I lost my pass.

With the photocopy I simply went to Guest Relations at the park gate and in about 2 minutes was re-issued a new pass.

Needless to say, I'm a big fan of making those copies.

I think the important thing is not to have a photocopy of the ticket but to have the ticket number recorded somewhere. Until you get back to the hotel, you could just write the ticket numbers on a piece of paper and tuck it into a pocket in your wallet where they will be safe.

Thanks for the great ideas! It also occurred to me that I could take a digital picture of each of the tickets, plus a close-up picture of the numbers. That might help, in a pinch!
