We got back from out trip on 10/27 so I only have 2 weeks left that I can finish up on our book and I am getting really FRUSTRATED!!! There is no phone number to call and emailing takes a few days and my questions aren't even answered--just some obvious generic response. I pretty much know what I am doing but can't save my work, upload or delete pictures or anything for that matter! I have most of it saved from previous hours and hours of work but everytime I try to do something, it takes 4 minutes to say it is "unable to save at this time.Try later."

As much time as I have spent on this stupid thing I want to finish it. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution? Please, any info is appreciated!!

I can't help with this question, but I would post on theme park attractions and strategies, it seems to get more posts.

I had the same problem you are having! The Disney site is slow and not very co-operative. I found that if I used my PC at work, I could rarely upload an image successful or make any changes but from home it seemed to work a bit more often. I also found that things seemed to go a bit smoother when I did this late at night (I suppose there must be less people attempting to create their books). :surfweb:

Just keep persisting and it will eventually pay off. I got a book last year and spend loads and loads of hours on it and I will be doing another one this year after my December Holiday.

Don't get discouraged! It will be well worth it in the end. :cheer2:

I had similar problems almost a year ago, I thought they would have fixed some of the issues by now. Here are a few "tricks" I did to help it go a bit better:
1. Work on it early in the morning (or really late at night if you are a night owl - like after 11 pm Eastern) when the server is not so busy.

2. When it is taking forever to upload or save, open another browser window (or two) and get back in work on your book while you are waiting.

3. I also printed out empty template pages and used printed photos to figure out what I wanted to go where, (like mocking up our highschool yearbook pages) so I didn't spend time doing trial and error on the system. When I thought I was done, I printed them out again and laid it all out so I knew I had everything where I wanted it. I actually ended up adding pages and had a 16 page book, I think, at the end.

I agree, it is really annoying that they don't have a number to call and I wish they gave you at least 60 days to work with your photos.

It will be worth it in the end!

Good Luck!
