Photobook as Christmas gift.

I'd like to put together a photobook of some of my "best" photography for my 84 y.o. mom for Christmas. I'm planning for a large size book (that is, in terms of picture size, not absolute number of pictures).
Which company might do the best job on this for me? Thinking MPix?

Right now I am creating a book with inkubook.com They had a free book deal so I am trying them out. I have also send Shutterflies books and they turned out pretty cute. If you digi scrap, I could give you a couple of websites to check out.

I go the homemade route. Takes a bit of time, but I've done books of close to 1000 pictures in about a month or so. I personally print my pictures 2 per 8.5 x 11 page, sometimes one per page (which may work better for older eyes ), place them in plastic sleeves to protect them, and use a white presentation notebook (the type that has the plastic sleeve on top) and add a nice photo as the cover. I buy the ink, photo paper, sleeves and notebooks in bulk at Costco to help keep costs down - I have no idea how the cost of doing it yourself compares to sending it out. I also like to add a bit of commentary to most of my pictures (which does add to the time it takes) - I've done this for gifts as well as for myself, and everyone has always loved them - I'm sure your Mom will treasure this gift, my Mom keeps the two I've done for her readily available for visitors to see!
