Thanks!
Towncrier said:Don't know if I have any photos, but I do recall that when the wall (Murphy) bed is pulled down, the doorway to the verandah is completely blocked. You have to step over the bed if you want to go out while the bed is "deployed".
My wife had planned to get up early and sneak out to the verandah on our cruise back in 2000, but her mom was in the Murphy bed and Sue was unable to crawl over her to get out onto the verandah.
Towncrier said:Here's another possible solution. Even though our first ever Disney cruise was in a Cat 4 stateroom, we decided to get adjoining Cat 10 staterooms on our 2nd cruise. Even though we didn't have our own private verandah, we did have two bathrooms, two showers, two closets (twice the storage), and two rooms. This second cruise was by far more enjoyable because of that. And if we wanted some verandah time, there was plenty of space up on deck.
I know that there are those who will argue with my logic, but for a family of 5, I would take two cat 10's over one cat 4 any day of the week.

disneyfan73 said:BTW you can not put 5th bed back in the stored position . your stateroom host must do it.

I would go two cabins but only if they were connecting(with verandah say deck 6) and money being about equal. But there are very few connecting rooms. So thats a tough one for us... love the verandah for morning coffee.jehma said:It did help, thanks! Great shots of the cruise.
If you did it again, would you get the verandah or two cabins?
jehma said:Oh, and did your kids get bored on the 7 day? How old are they, if you don't mind my asking.
Thats right... but you can call stateroom host and they will put them up/down for you anytime.jehma said:Ohhh . . . good information! So the beds are all open from dinner through breakfast, whether you want them that way or not. That's good to know.
