Photo Tip, I learned the hard way

We transport pics. to our laptop daily using free Picasa program, but then we choose to KEEP the pics. and videos on the memory card, in case anything happened to the laptop. Or, you can upload photos nightly to an online photo place if you have internet access, which is another good way to ensure duplicate copies are being kept.

or you can simply copy them to a folder with windows explorer.

If I need to, I can e-mail them to one of several "spare" e-mail addresses I can create, but havn't had to do that.
