To me, AK is the most beautiful park to photograph! It's so vibrant and 'alive'! Despite the general approach that this park only requires a part day, we always go at least twice per trip so we can enjoy the little details :) Beautiful photo William

And congrats on your 1000th post :)

Wow, I didn't even see that was number 1,000. Glad it turned out to be a photo. Thanks.

Would you believe this was shot on the night someone asked me to stop taking pictures because I had a "big" camera?

You know, a part of me instinctively wants to respond with "you're kidding, right?!" Yet, rather alarmingly, nothing surprises me anymore. I was in a coffee shop one day having had a day out with my family and took a photo of my daughter. The manager marched over and asked me (his words, I quote) "Would you please stop flashing" :rotfl: The wicked side in me couldn't resist giving him a dead-pan expression and asking, "Why, do you think I'm going to end up with all the tips?" He didn't get it! Go figure.

This was one of those rare times when Animal Kingdom was open at night. I was having a great time. The park wasn't very full and I just went from one location to the next getting shots.

Apparently, I was being watched and she came up to me in Asia to express concern about my photography. It was pathetic. Totally drained all of the joy out of me and I left with a negative feeling. Disney Magic? Right.

I guess the Evil Queen gets out now and then, too. At least I got some shots that I liked before she ruined it all.
