Got the chance last week at Animal Kingdom to test the new FE70-200mm F4 G OSS lens on my A6000 - I bought it the week before but didn't have any time to test it before heading on vacation, so Disney became my testing grounds. Very impressed with this lens on the A6000:

AF is excellent. No firmware update needed on the lens as it's already got the OSPDAF compliant firmware. Focus is very quick and silent - I had the chance this weekend to do some bird-in-flight work with it, and it was very good - even keeping up with the fast birds like ducks, kingfishers, doves in flight, etc. The lens is very sharp, even at F4 and 200mm.

What was your ISO? Even at 2.8, it's a bit underexposed. Composition and focus are great. Some motion blur in the hand, but that's what happens when you need to compromise the shutter speed.

ISO 800. I'm too stubborn to crank up the ISO and I know I should. The pool was well lit with a lot of natural light coming in, but this was taken later in the day after the sun set.

Maybe I need an A7s.

You'd lose an awful lot of reach and cropping capability.......

But with your camera, you really shouldn't have any issue at least going to ISO 1600/3200. To my eye, an underexposed ISO 1600 shot will look noisier than a properly exposed 3200. I'll crank my current camera up over 12800 when necessary and walk away with usable results (at least for medium web sized shots).

ISO 3200 @ f/2.8, 200mm, 1/400th in a dimly lit pool. also cropped this puppy at least 25%.
Used a monopod for stability - manual peaking focus ( zone focusing ).

Im back from a tiny photography hiatus after a trip up to Orando this weekend. Was a Universal weekend and they way things are lookign our Disney days are going to be scaled back a little this year. Just cant justify spending the money on 4 annual passes anymore.

I know many of you don't venture far from Disney so you might not be familiar with this. I present to you the Orlando Eye on Idrive. I ended up getting escorted off property for this shot, which is dumb since its a wide open shopping area right off the street.

Friday was spent at Fusnpot in Orlando. Its a fun place that more on the lines of a carnival but def fun to spend some time.

Lol, thank you. After a heavy shooting Oct-Dec I took a little break since we didnt really do much or go anywhere since. Took a few photos around the house but needed a recharge. Ive got plenty to post in the comign weeks

Still here, always looking through the shots. The thread can get a little slow, but so the photography forum in general. Lovely shots so far - I don't have any interest in going to Universal, but the shots from there are great.
