This poor little dove hit my window over the weekend and it stunned him/her pretty badly. It sat very still in the flower bed while I took its picture. It was gone later in the day so I assume it shook off the collision and was able to fly away.

Brand new D5000, just getting familiar and we actually had a clear evening and got this opportunity It was a pretty quick setup, I would have like to find a better place for composition but didn't have time. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Edited to Add: The intent of the photo was for another website where the weekly assignment was "Centered Composition", which is why I did not follow the rule of thirds.
