I've been practicing natural light, focus and exposing to the right. None of which is easy on three year olds, lol, they do not pose, just cheese. I was happy with this one, I think...

I hate running and that's the toughest part about being a cross-country mom. If I want to get the shot, I have to run too!! They are almost to the finish line here...my son is the 2nd boy...once his teammate realized how close Kevin was, he went into a sprint. Kevin said...wait 'til next week!

Oh man, I could never do that! It was hard enough helping w/soccer practice, that would kill me and I worked out every day back then. Good luck to Kevin next week!

Thank you. I'm trying. I know my pics are mostly snapshots but I don't have a chance to find new subject matter all that often w/my little ones. DH is gone 14hrs out of the day so I don't get the chance to get out by myself.

Steam train that we went on while in Quebec last month.

this was from the weekend of August 21-23rd.We went for DD's 5th birthday.We had just sat down for a healthy breakfast of popcorn when DD heard the music for Dream Along with Mickey starting.She knows it by heart and didn't want to miss it.
I guess I timed it just right..Just shortly before this I had dropped my D70s on the sidewalk.It worked just fine.Talk about heart failure.
DH was Veteran of the Day at 5pm.We headed that way to watch him.Well the camera was dropped again with a less than fortunate outcome.It isn't working now.I push the button..it clicks and nothing.I have to turn it off to make the mirror release.I hope that it can be fixed.
I didn't get any photos of my husband.It made me so sad because this was his first time getting to do this and more special because it was on DD's 5th birthday.We have the photopass one and I am springing for the cd even if there are only 82 pictures on it.

This photo is PRICELESS to me It says it all!

And gasp is what she did !!
She is so expressive with her face.You can always tell what she is thinking
I hope it can be fixed if not I guess I'll have to find a new body or upgrade to something I can still use my lenses with.

It probably is Jeff but it gives it a 3D dimensionality look that make it appear like it is coming out of the background. Great shot!
